The crowd rose to their feet as Brazil's Danilo Aguiar Farias slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Arif Ozan Oğuztan. That made the score 1-0 after 3 minutes of play. Cirilo Ritchie might have been able to make a better finish in the 6th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Heitor Paim Belluci. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Cirilo Ritchie ran back to his position shaking his head. Heitor Paim Belluci had in the 8thth minute some difficulties stopping Cirilo Ritchie's well aimed penalty as it nearly passed him on his left side, but he still managed to hold the ball. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Diogo Paim Macedo in the 10th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Arif Ozan Oğuztan saved Arrecifes from getting behind. In the 17th minute Diogo Paim Macedo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Arif Ozan Oğuztan saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Arif Ozan Oğuztan took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Diogo Paim Macedo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Arif Ozan Oğuztan showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Diogo Paim Macedo, who was totally free with the ball in the 22nd minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Diogo Paim Macedo in the 22nd minute of play forced Arrecifes's goalkeeper Arif Ozan Oğuztan to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Arrecifes's attentive Kevin De Bruyne managed to snatch the ball when Rafael Machado Cardoso made a throw-in in the 24th minute of the game. 26 minutes into the match, Ivo Reis Quadros notched a goal, 2-0, to the right of Arrecifes's Arif Ozan Oğuztan. Arif Ozan Oğuztan was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. 30 minutes in the game Rafael Machado Cardoso did a throw-in, and the ball was quickly in game thanks to Diogo Paim Macedo. If Danilo Aguiar Farias had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 42nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Arrecifes's Arif Ozan Oğuztan played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Danilo Aguiar Farias in the 43rd minute of play. After 46 minutes of play, Brazil's Diogo Paim Macedo made it 3-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Arif Ozan Oğuztan was left in no man's land by his defense there! Af the end of the first half the score was 3-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Diogo Paim Macedo made a kick off. In the 51st minute Diogo Paim Macedo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Arif Ozan Oğuztan saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Arrecifes's Arif Ozan Oğuztan played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Diogo Paim Macedo in the 56th minute of play. Arif Ozan Oğuztan showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Diogo Paim Macedo, who was totally free with the ball in the 57th minute. In the 60th minute, Danilo Aguiar Farias made a precise shot to the right of Arif Ozan Oğuztan. Arrecifes's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 4-0. Arif Ozan Oğuztan made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Diogo Paim Macedo in the 63rd minute of play. In the 70th minute, Diogo Paim Macedo left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Brazil fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 5-0. Brazil made a substitution. Renato Pedroso Kimura replaced Alexandre Paz Rocha. Arrecifes made a substitution. Felipe Senon replaced Cirilo Ritchie. Arrecifes's Hipolito Laurendi was substituted for Natanael Matorin. Arif Ozan Oğuztan took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Murilo Bueno Lobo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Murilo Barros Rosa hit a great freekick 80 minutes into the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Murilo Bueno Lobo in the 83rd minute of play forced Arrecifes's goalkeeper Arif Ozan Oğuztan to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 94th minute Murilo Bueno Lobo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Arif Ozan Oğuztan saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Arif Ozan Oğuztan came out of the goal in the 95th minute to try and stop a shot by Brazil's Murilo Bueno Lobo. But to his dismay, Murilo Bueno Lobo quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 6-0. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. Brazil fully deserved thier win.
