When the match had gone on for 5 minutes, Augusto Estefan took a quick shot and it went in 1-0 without a chance for Jax Williamson to make any attempt to save it. Augusto Estefan sent away a hard shot on goal in the 9th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Zachariasz Dudkowski took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Carter George, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Zachariasz Dudkowski made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Richard Mccarthy in the 13th minute of play. CRUZ DEL SUR's Abundio Manzano got a good chance for a goal in the 15th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Canada's defense didn't have a chance, in the 18th minute, when Augusto Estefan scored to the left of an out of position Jax Williamson, making the score, 2-0. Canada's Koby Wright got a good chance for a goal in the 22nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The supporters of Canada booed when CRUZ DEL SUR was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 26 match minutes in a wonderful position. Pablo Soto didn't get a good kick on the ball. Koby Wright struck a weak shot in the 27th minute. Zachariasz Dudkowski didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Canada. In the 29th minute Augusto Estefan shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jax Williamson saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Koby Wright in the 30th minute of play forced CRUZ DEL SUR's goalkeeper Zachariasz Dudkowski to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Koby Wright in the 46th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Zachariasz Dudkowski prevented the ball from getting in the gole. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-1.

A collision led to CRUZ DEL SUR getting a freekick after 69 minutes play. Fan Yong Zhan hit a great ball. 75 minutes into the game, Jan Dixon recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Zachariasz Dudkowski. Jan Dixon showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 2-2. In the 78th minute the ball was on its way in behind Canada's goalkeeper Jax Williamson, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Zachariasz Dudkowski showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Filip Edwards in the 81st minute of the match. Canada's Jax Williamson played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Fabio Zorondo in the 89th minute of play. In the 94thth minute of the game Eustacio Antonucci who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Canada's Jax Williamson was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 95th minute Prince Anderson shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Zachariasz Dudkowski saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When Eustacio Antonucci came up free with the goalie in the 96th minute, the CRUZ DEL SUR fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Eustacio Antonucci couldn't finish the play. Canada's Jax Williamson played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Eustacio Antonucci in the 98th minute of play. When the referee blew the final whistle, you could see the dissatisfaction in the Canada players' eyes. They were disappointed they hadn't taken more from the game.
