Spectators: 44 (Terracing: 34, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) Venezuela's Tomas Illescas started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Jonathan Ferrant showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Luca Dănilă in the 5th minute of the match. 10 minutes into the match, Venezuela's goal looked a bit too open when Luca Dănilă came free, but Jonathan Ferrant reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. A collision led to Venezuela getting a freekick after 11 minutes play. Jonathan Venegas hit a great ball. When CFR Sibiu's Luca Dănilă in the 11th minute got a chance for a shot 11th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Venezuela's goalie prevented a goal. CFR Sibiu's Cristo Nofre played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Tomas Illescas in the 14th minute of play. After a defensive mix-up in Venezuela's zone, Evert Kjellberg stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Jonathan Ferrant came out of the goal and Evert Kjellberg tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 17th minute, Costel Novăceanu ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Jonathan Ferrant was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-0. Jaen Albino kicked well hit freekick during the 24th minute of the match. The audience was convinced that Tomas Illescas's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Cristo Nofre was relentless in the 26th minute of the game. In the 27th minute, Costel Novăceanu fired away a shot on goal. He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post. Luca Dănilă who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 27thth minute tested the skills of Jonathan Ferrant when he managed to save the team from getting behind. In the 32ndth minute of the game Luca Dănilă who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Venezuela's Jonathan Ferrant was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Tomas Illescas recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 34th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. When the match had gone on for 38 minutes, Luca Dănilă took a quick shot and it went in 3-0 without a chance for Jonathan Ferrant to make any attempt to save it. In the 44th minute, Xavies Bedoya ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Jonathan Ferrant was frozen by the shot and now it was 4-0.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Luca Dănilă made a kick off. After 51st play minutes Luca Dănilă shot 5-0, a short shot which went by Jonathan Ferrant and just under the crossbar into goal. Jonathan Ferrant came out of the goal in the 55th minute to try and stop a shot by CFR Sibiu's Costel Novăceanu. But to his dismay, Costel Novăceanu quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 6-0. If Tomas Illescas had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 59th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 64th minute Costel Novăceanu shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jonathan Ferrant saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 68 minutes into the match, Venezuela's goal looked a bit too open when Luca Dănilă came free, but Jonathan Ferrant reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Cristo Nofre showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Tomas Illescas, who was totally free with the ball in the 70th minute. After 80 minutes of play, CFR Sibiu's Costel Novăceanu made it 8-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Jonathan Ferrant was left in no man's land by his defense there! Jonathan Ferrant took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Costel Novăceanu, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After some fancy dribbling in the 87th minute, Luca Dănilă managed to get in a good position for a shot. CFR Sibiu's supporters rose to their feet, but Luca Dănilă was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Jonathan Ferrant breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After a rather tough play, Venezuela's Patricio Costa got a free kick in the 88th minute. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. CFR Sibiu fully deserved thier win.
