Spectators: 40 (Terracing: 31, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) Venezuela's Tomas Illescas started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. After a rather tough play, Venezuela's Jonathan Venegas got a free kick in the 2nd minute. Through an outstanding action, after 3 minutes, Jonathan Ferrant successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. In the 8th match minute, Venezuela was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Alex Chicote to maneuver through the defense. Flóki van Dam hit a great freekick 10 minutes into the match. In the 12th match minute, Venezuela was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Alex Chicote to maneuver through the defense. In the 14th minute, Alex Chicote hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Jonathan Ferrant showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from André Luiz Vides, who was totally free with the ball in the 15th minute. If Tomas Illescas had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 18th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Sérgio de Azevedo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Tomas Illescas in the 21st minute of the match. The audience was convinced that Tomas Illescas's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Sérgio de Azevedo was relentless in the 22nd minute of the game. Tomas Illescas blasted a shot towards the goal in the 30th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Sérgio de Azevedo having to make a save. BMB IMOVEIS SC's Donato Marques got a good chance for a goal in the 32nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. An unexpectedly hard shot by André Luiz Vides in the 35th minute of play forced Venezuela's goalkeeper Jonathan Ferrant to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Alex Chicote kicked well hit freekick during the 39th minute of the match. Venezuela's Jonathan Ferrant played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by André Luiz Vides in the 41st minute of play. Donato Marques recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 47th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-1 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell André Luiz Vides to make the kick off. In the 53rd minute, Tomas Illescas reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Sérgio de Azevedo. The goal made the score 0-2. An unexpectedly hard shot by André Luiz Vides in the 58th minute of play forced Venezuela's goalkeeper Jonathan Ferrant to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When Venezuela's Tomas Illescas in the 60th minute got a chance for a shot 60th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. Sérgio de Azevedo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Patricio Costa, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. If Tomas Illescas had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 71st minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. If André Luiz Vides had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 76th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a rather tough play, Venezuela's Patricio Costa got a free kick in the 80th minute. Jonathan Ferrant stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of André Luiz Vides's shot from short distance in the 85th minute. The supporters of Venezuela booed when BMB IMOVEIS SC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 90 match minutes in a wonderful position. Flóki van Dam didn't get a good kick on the ball. The Venezuela players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
