In the 26thth minute of the game Tomas Illescas who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Kedindi's Yustedjo Tutuarima was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. The audience was convinced that Tomas Illescas's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Yustedjo Tutuarima was relentless in the 26th minute of the game. Kedindi's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Tomas Illescas ran over to the corner to take the kick. Tomas Illescas made a great header on Venezuela's corner, it was just that Kedindi's Yustedjo Tutuarima managed to reach the ball for a save. Yustedjo Tutuarima stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Salvador Gisbert's shot from short distance in the 47th minute.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Tomas Illescas stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Jonathan Ferrant took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Khoir Zamani, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Eugeniusz Dziewulski's late challenge caught a Venezuela's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Eugeniusz Dziewulski helped the player get up and apologised. A collision led to Kedindi getting a freekick after 91 minutes play. Eugeniusz Dziewulski hit a great ball. For all the effort they put into the match, the Venezuela players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Kedindi.
