Spectators: 40 (Terracing: 31, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Daniel Zorita kicked off to start the match. Ecuador's Agustín Saelices was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Donato Lehior in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. Donato Lehior took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Cristian Sancho, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Daniel Zorita received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 11th minute. Donato Lehior tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After a defensive mix-up in Xaloc's zone, Daniel Zorita stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Donato Lehior came out of the goal and Daniel Zorita tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Donato Lehior took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Cristian Sancho, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 19th minute Ecuador were awarded a corner. Daniel Zorita went to the cornerflag to take it. Virgilio Quevedo hit a great freekick 22 minutes into the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Daniel Zorita in the 24th minute of play forced Xaloc's goalkeeper Donato Lehior to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Ecuador were awarded a corner in the 27th minute after Xaloc's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Daniel Zorita took the corner. After taking down the ball on Ecuador's corner Daniel Zorita fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Donato Lehior quite easily take care of the ball. When Felix Montenegro got free in front of the goal in the 27th minute he wasn't very focused and chipped the ball just over the goal. Donato Lehior was delighted since he was out of position and the ball would have got in if it had gone under the crossbar. Donato Lehior showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Cristian Sancho in the 28th minute of the match. The first half was very even, with the score at 0-0 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Virgilio Quevedo to make the kick off. In the 55th minute, Ecuador's Cristian Sancho ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Donato Lehior. Donato Lehior yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 0-1. Xaloc's Josep Fontana was substituted for Ton Torron. Donato Lehior took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Luis Andino, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After a rather tough play, Xaloc's Vigil Nafría got a free kick in the 62nd minute. 65 minutes into the match, Xaloc's goalkeeper Donato Lehior had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Cristian Sancho. 66 minutes into the match, Ecuador's goal looked a bit too open when Josep Fontana came free, but Julio Vera reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Donato Lehior showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Luis Andino in the 67th minute of the match. If Felix Montenegro had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 71st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Donato Lehior made a fantastic save in the 76th minute, when Cristian Sancho sent off a good shot on target. After 80 minutes Xaloc's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Daniel Zorita who took care of the corner kick. A well-hit corner resulted in Juan Sebastián Puig heading the ball towards the goal, but to his dismay he misdirected it and missed the goal completely. In the 82nd minute, Felix Montenegro hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When Ecuador's Agustín Saelices in the 84th minute got a chance for a shot 84th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Xaloc's goalie prevented a goal. After some fancy dribbling in the 87th minute, Luis Andino managed to get in a good position for a shot. Ecuador's supporters rose to their feet, but Luis Andino was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Donato Lehior breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The audience thought a goal was coming when Daniel Zorita got free with Donato Lehior in the 91st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After 92 played minutes Xaloc got a freekick which was hit by Josep Fontana. After having played for 93 minutes, Daniel Zorita managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Ecuador's supporters crossed their fingers, but Daniel Zorita was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Ecuador played a much better game than Xaloc and deserved their victory. The Xaloc players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
