Spectators: 45 (Terracing: 35, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Edmundo Espiga kicked off to start the match. A collision led to Rapid getting a freekick after 11 minutes play. Trent Salter hit a great ball. The long shot by Edmundo Espiga in the 12th minute really tested Edwin van der Saar's skills. The ball was on its way into the goal to the left of him when he managed to stretch himself and save the shot and avoid a goal. Lautaro Navarro showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Leon Palban in the 14th minute of the match. In the 16th match minute, Honduras was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Esteban Carvallo to maneuver through the defense. After having played for 18 minutes, Leon Palban managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Rapid's supporters crossed their fingers, but Leon Palban was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Rapid's Edwin van der Saar played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Edmundo Espiga in the 20th minute of play. After 20 played minutes Rapid got a freekick which was hit by Trent Salter. Lautaro Navarro made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ian Sparks in the 23rd minute of play. After 27 minutes, Leon Palban made it 0-1 with a short kick to the right side. Honduras's Lautaro Navarro tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Lautaro Navarro showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ian Sparks in the 33rd minute of the match. Christian Sancho sent away a hard shot on goal in the 37th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Lautaro Navarro showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ian Sparks in the 45th minute of the match. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-1.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Ian Sparks made a kick off. 51 minutes into the match, Honduras's goal looked a bit too open when Leon Palban came free, but Lautaro Navarro reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Trent Salter kicked well hit freekick during the 55th minute of the match. Edwin van der Saar showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Edmundo Espiga, who was totally free with the ball in the 57th minute. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Edmundo Espiga in the 58th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Edwin van der Saar saved Rapid from getting behind. Rudy Kauffman hit a great freekick 61 minutes into the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Edmundo Espiga in the 62nd minute of play forced Rapid's goalkeeper Edwin van der Saar to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 69th minute Edmundo Espiga shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Edwin van der Saar saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Sebastian Villa sent away a hard shot on goal in the 76th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance.
