Spectators: 40 (Terracing: 31, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Julian Murillo started the match with the kick off. In the 3rd minute, Aziz Akarsu reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Rolando Noboa. The goal made the score 1-0. Peru's Eliseo Mina quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Mario Hever, made in the 10th minute of the game. In the 11th minute, Julian Murillo hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Ismael Gimenez made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Julian Murillo in the 13th minute of play. 18 minutes into the game, Peru's Julian Murillo nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Ismael Gimenez made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-1. In the 24thth minute of the game Aziz Akarsu who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Peru's Rolando Noboa was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. With a little luck, Peru's Rolando Noboa got control of the ball when Aziz Akarsu tried to sneak it across the goal line. Ismael Gimenez took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Julian Murillo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 36th minute Julian Murillo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ismael Gimenez saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 41st minute Ramon Rius shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Rolando Noboa saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. A sloppy throw-in by Mario Hever in the 42nd minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by Peru's Eliseo Mina.

In the 51st minute of the match, Julian Murillo got a very nice opportunity to score, but Ismael Gimenez was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. After 55 minutes Peru's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Mario Hever who took care of the corner kick. The corner ended in Mario Hever almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Peru's Rolando Noboa did a great save. Rolando Noboa showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Aziz Akarsu, who was totally free with the ball in the 58th minute. After some careless play in the Deportivo Mukenio defense, Julian Murillo kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Ismael Gimenez. The Deportivo Mukenio fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Ismael Gimenez should have stopped the shot. Rolando Noboa took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jean-Pierre Pogba, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Deportivo Mukenio's Mario Hever was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Rolando Noboa in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. In the 73rd minute Ramon Rius shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Rolando Noboa saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Ismael Gimenez made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Julian Murillo in the 75th minute of play. Deportivo Mukenio's Ismael Gimenez played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Julian Murillo in the 77th minute of play. The referee felt a red card was in order, 81 minutes into the game, when Cristian Vidican put in a rough tackle. Peru made a substitution. Antonio Tenorio replaced Luz Tejedor. Peru's Rafael Gallo was substituted for Julian Murillo. 81 minutes into the game, one of Deportivo Mukenio:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. 1-3 came in the 84th minute when Eliseo Mina all by himself managed to get straight through the defense and place the ball into the net to the right of Ismael Gimenez. Rafael Gallo who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 88thth minute tested the skills of Ismael Gimenez when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Ismael Gimenez showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Rafael Gallo, who was totally free with the ball in the 93rd minute. When the referee blew the final whistle jeers and boos were heard from the home team's supporters. They were angered to see Deportivo Mukenio lose a match they had controlled from the kick-off.
