Spectators: 50 (Terracing: 38, Seating: 11, VIP seats: 1) Made in Paraguay's Severo Labora started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Made in Paraguay's Evaristo Mendialdura got a good chance for a goal in the 6th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Tomas Illescas sent away a hard shot on goal in the 16th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Nahia Gago in the 25th minute of play forced Venezuela's goalkeeper Jonathan Ferrant to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 27th minute Nahia Gago shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jonathan Ferrant saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Martxelin Beilzo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 28th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 30th minute, Tomas Illescas left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Venezuela fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. The supporters of Venezuela booed when Made in Paraguay was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 35 match minutes in a wonderful position. Iztal Autran didn't get a good kick on the ball. With a little luck, Venezuela's Jonathan Ferrant got control of the ball when Severo Labora tried to sneak it across the goal line. Jonathan Ferrant made a fantastic save in the 45th minute, when Severo Labora sent off a good shot on target. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-1 lead.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Tomas Illescas made a kick off. In the 51stth minute of the game Tomas Illescas who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Made in Paraguay's Modesto Farto was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. If Tomas Illescas had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 53rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. In the 55th minute Severo Labora shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jonathan Ferrant saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Modesto Farto was out of position in the 56 minute of play, and Tomas Illescas capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Tomas Illescas really showed his touch with that goal: 0-2. Modesto Farto took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Tomas Illescas, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 62 minutes, Severo Labora made it 1-2 with a short kick to the right side. Venezuela's Jonathan Ferrant tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Jacob Sagasti went to the cornerflag to take it. After some fancy dribbling in the 91st minute, Patricio Costa managed to get in a good position for a shot. Venezuela's supporters rose to their feet, but Patricio Costa was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Modesto Farto breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick.
