Spectators: 40 (Terracing: 31, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Joel Gaona took the kick off in the first half of the match. Macaco F.C.'s Jorge Campos played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Lautaro Mancebo in the 5th minute of play. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Joel Gaona in the 6th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Jorge Campos prevented the ball from getting in the gole. 10 minutes into the match, Mexico's Joel Gaona sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Jorge Campos narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Mexico were awarded a corner in the 11th minute after Macaco F.C.'s defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Joel Gaona took the corner. A nice corner shot did that Luca Zorita got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Jorge Campos quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. Joel Gaona fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 17th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jorge Campos having to interfere. If Lautaro Mancebo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 20th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Macaco F.C.'s Jorge Campos played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Lautaro Mancebo in the 24th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Lautaro Mancebo in the 29th minute of play forced Macaco F.C.'s goalkeeper Jorge Campos to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Thanks to some nice moves Luisinho Lira could shoot a difficult shot in the 32nd minute, which Dante Lacasa however easily saved by the left post. After 33 minutes of play, Mexico's Joel Gaona made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Jorge Campos was left in no man's land by his defense there! In the 37th minute, Joel Gaona got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Mexico's Dante Lacasa proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 38th minute of the match, managed to save Mexico from getting a goal against them. In the 39th minute, Lautaro Mancebo got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. With a little luck, Mexico's Dante Lacasa got control of the ball when Luisinho Lira tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 45th match minute, Macaco F.C. was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Carlos Penha to maneuver through the defense. After the first half Mexico were leading 0-1. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The wind increased when Ingars Miders made the kick off in the second half. 50 minutes into the match, Macaco F.C.'s goal looked a bit too open when Alberto Tafalla came free, but Jorge Campos reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Dante Lacasa took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Luisinho Lira, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Jorge Campos made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Joel Gaona in the 53rd minute of play. Jorge Campos stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Joel Gaona's shot from short distance in the 56th minute. Dante Lacasa showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ioan Mavrodin in the 61st minute of the match. Lautaro Mancebo could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 63rd minute of the match, but Jorge Campos made a huge save. In the 64th minute of the match Mexico got a corner. Macaco F.C.'s goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Joel Gaona ran over to the corner to take the kick. 66 minutes into the match, Joel Gaona notched a goal, 0-2, to the right of Macaco F.C.'s Jorge Campos. Jorge Campos was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. In the 69th minute, Joel Gaona reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Jorge Campos. The goal made the score 0-3. 72 minutes into the match, Mexico's goal looked a bit too open when Luisinho Lira came free, but Dante Lacasa reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 76th minute Carlos Penha shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Dante Lacasa saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Mexico's Joel Gaona was standing unmarked in front of the goal when he, in the 78th play minute, got the ball and easily drilled it into the goal. Lautaro Mancebo could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 81st minute of the match, but Jorge Campos made a huge save. In the 82nd of the match, Joel Gaona tried to place the ball in the upper right corner, but Jorge Campos got in the way and made a wonderful save. Dante Lacasa took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ingars Miders, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When Lorenzo Cazalla fell near the penalty area in the 87th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Mexico's protests and gave Lorenzo Cazalla a yellow card for diving instead. Luca Zorita struck a weak shot in the 92nd minute. Jorge Campos didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Mexico. After a rather tough play, Macaco F.C.'s Ingars Miders got a free kick in the 93rd minute. When the match was over Mexico could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Macaco F.C. throughout the match.
