Spectators: 44 (Terracing: 34, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Tomas Berganza started the match with the kick off. Loren Eaton kicked well hit freekick during the 3rd minute of the match. Albino Berriotxoa showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Isidoro Sarmiento in the 4th minute of the match. Felipe Ros tried to clear up in front of the goal, but didn't succeed and rather the ball rolled into the own goal to the right of a despaired Marcos Cotilla. An unnecessary self made goal, 0-1 in the 7th minute. Aaron Barrios hit a great freekick 16 minutes into the match. In the 17th minute of the match Loren Eaton shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Marcos Cotilla showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Delmar Dabi in the 19th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Marcos Cotilla prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Albino Berriotxoa made an important save on a dangerous shot by Isidoro Sarmiento in the 22nd minute. 23 minutes into the match, Panama's goal looked a bit too open when Jovica Zeković came free, but Marcos Cotilla reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Marcos Cotilla took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Delmar Dabi, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. With an all-out effort, Panama's Albino Berriotxoa threw himself towards the right post 32 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Tomas Berganza, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. In the 36th minute Tomas Berganza shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Albino Berriotxoa saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After some careless play in the Panama defense, Delmar Dabi kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Marcos Cotilla. The Panama fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Marcos Cotilla should have stopped the shot. The audience was convinced that Jovica Zeković's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Marcos Cotilla was relentless in the 40th minute of the game. Alex Cambeiro's late challenge caught a Manchester Quijano's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Alex Cambeiro helped the player get up and apologised. The supporters of Manchester Quijano booed when Panama was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 41 match minutes in a wonderful position. Alex Cambeiro didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 42 played minutes, Manchester Quijano's Loren Eaton shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Marcos Cotilla came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Manchester Quijano reached it. 45 minutes into the game, Patrício Pizarro was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Manchester Quijano's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Panama the free kick. Albino Berriotxoa made an important save on a dangerous shot by Alex Cambeiro in the 47th minute. The Panama players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Manchester Quijano were winning 0-2.

The wind increased when Delmar Dabi made the kick off in the second half. Jovica Zeković who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 51stth minute tested the skills of Marcos Cotilla when he managed to save the team from getting behind. When Tomas Berganza came up free with the goalie in the 52nd minute, the Panama fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Tomas Berganza couldn't finish the play. Panama's Marcos Cotilla proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 56th minute of the match, managed to save Panama from getting a goal against them. After 60 played minutes Panama got a freekick which was hit by Tomas Berganza. In the 65th minute Abraham Alguacil shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Albino Berriotxoa saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Isidoro Sarmiento had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 66th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Albino Berriotxoa made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Isidoro Sarmiento in the 66th minute of play. 69 minutes into the match, Manchester Quijano's goal looked a bit too open when Abraham Alguacil came free, but Albino Berriotxoa reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Manchester Quijano's Albino Berriotxoa played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Abraham Alguacil in the 71st minute of play. In the 73rd match minute, Manchester Quijano was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Rene Fernendo to maneuver through the defense. In the 74th minute, Tomas Berganza got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The supporters of Manchester Quijano booed when Panama was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 76 match minutes in a wonderful position. Felipe Ros didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 77 played minutes Panama got a freekick which was hit by Felipe Ros. Marcos Cotilla made an important save on a dangerous shot by Loren Eaton in the 83rd minute. After 85 minutes Panama's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Loren Eaton who took care of the corner kick. The corner led to Manchester Quijano's Basilio Manny getting away a dangerous shot that went just outside the goal. After 86 played minutes Panama got a freekick which was hit by Alex Cambeiro. A collision led to Panama getting a freekick after 89 minutes play. Miguel Miralles hit a great ball. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched Manchester Quijano eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
