Spectators: 45 (Terracing: 35, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) Ecuador's defense didn't have a chance, in the 6th minute, when Pepillo Servin scored to the left of an out of position Julio Vera, making the score, 1-0. Alfonso Villamarin made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Daniel Zorita in the 10th minute of play. The audience was convinced that Daniel Zorita's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Alfonso Villamarin was relentless in the 12th minute of the game. Ecuador's Julio Vera proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 15th minute of the match, managed to save Ecuador from getting a goal against them. Antonio Arias hit a great freekick 19 minutes into the match. In the 24th minute, Cristian Sancho made a precise shot to the right of Alfonso Villamarin. Leones FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-1. Cristian Sancho took the ball and in the 27 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Alfonso Villamarin. Alfonso Villamarin dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-2. Julio Vera took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Pepillo Servin, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Alfonso Villamarin showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Cristian Sancho, who was totally free with the ball in the 38th minute. Julio Vera made a fantastic save in the 43rd minute, when Pepillo Servin sent off a good shot on target. 47 minutes into the game, Pepillo Servin lined in a short shot 3-2 behind a frustrated Julio Vera. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

In the 54th minute Pepillo Servin shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Julio Vera saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Casado Arambula had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 56th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Alfonso Villamarin showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Cristian Sancho, who was totally free with the ball in the 58th minute. Thanks to some nice moves Cristian Sancho could shoot a difficult shot in the 60th minute, which Alfonso Villamarin however easily saved by the left post. Julio Vera showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Pepillo Servin in the 63rd minute of the match. After a defensive mix-up in Ecuador's zone, Pepillo Servin stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Julio Vera came out of the goal and Pepillo Servin tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 68 minutes into the match, Leones FC's goalkeeper Alfonso Villamarin had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Daniel Zorita. Julio Vera showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Pepillo Servin in the 70th minute of the match. A collision led to Leones FC getting a freekick after 72 minutes play. You Qi Zhou hit a great ball. Oriol Loyola recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 74th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 76 minutes into the match, Ecuador's goal looked a bit too open when Pepillo Servin came free, but Julio Vera reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When Leones FC's Pepillo Servin in the 79th minute got a chance for a shot 79th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Ecuador's goalie prevented a goal. Julio Vera showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Oriol Loyola in the 84th minute of the match. After 85 minutes Ecuador's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Liu Feng Zhen who took care of the corner kick. Liu Feng Zhen made a great header on Leones FC's corner, it was just that Ecuador's Julio Vera managed to reach the ball for a save. After 86 played minutes Ecuador got a freekick which was hit by Cristian Sancho. 87 minutes into the match, Ecuador's goal looked a bit too open when Oriol Loyola came free, but Julio Vera reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Leones FC's Alfonso Villamarin proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 90th minute of the match, managed to save Leones FC from getting a goal against them. Leones FC's Oriol Loyola got a good chance for a goal in the 94th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After 95 minutes, Agustín Saelices mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Ecuador and the Leones FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. After a rather tough play, Ecuador's Agustín Saelices got a free kick in the 96th minute. In the 96th minute Liu Feng Zhen shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Julio Vera saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. For all the effort they put into the match, the Ecuador players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Leones FC.
