In the 6th minute Stuart Byman shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Rolando Noboa saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The corner ended in Seyit Bozbey almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Peru's Rolando Noboa did a great save. An unexpectedly hard shot by Doychin Konsulov in the 11th minute of play forced Peru's goalkeeper Rolando Noboa to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Doychin Konsulov took the ball and in the 13 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Rolando Noboa. Rolando Noboa dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. In the 17th minute, Erkan Okan hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Julian Murillo recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 19th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Doychin Konsulov in the 22nd minute of play forced Peru's goalkeeper Rolando Noboa to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Rolando Noboa showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Stuart Byman, who was totally free with the ball in the 23rd minute. Velimir Popchev showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Julian Murillo, who was totally free with the ball in the 26th minute. VN Keleler's Velimir Popchev played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Julian Murillo in the 27th minute of play. Pedrão Lira made in the 29th minute of the game a fairly good throw-in which was taken care of by Seyit Bozbey. A collision led to Peru getting a freekick after 31 minutes play. Emmanuel Reyes hit a great ball. Andreas Lund recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 31st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Rolando Noboa made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Seyit Bozbey in the 35th minute of play. In the 35th minute, Seyit Bozbey made a precise shot to the right of Rolando Noboa. Peru's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-2. Rolando Noboa showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Hakkı Kenan Pınar, who was totally free with the ball in the 38th minute. Velimir Popchev was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Julian Murillo showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-2 in the 40 minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Hakkı Kenan Pınar in the 42nd minute of play forced Peru's goalkeeper Rolando Noboa to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Efraim Gilabert hit a great freekick 43 minutes into the match. Rolando Noboa made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Stuart Byman in the 44th minute of play. A sloppy throw-in by Erkan Okan in the 47th minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by Peru's Eliseo Mina. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 1-2.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Julian Murillo made a kick off. Peru's Eliseo Mina managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Erkan Okan in the 50 minute of the game. Peru's Rolando Noboa proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 53rd minute of the match, managed to save Peru from getting a goal against them. Velimir Popchev showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Julian Murillo in the 59th minute of the match. VN Keleler's Harris Zoolingen was substituted for Doychin Konsulov. 62 minutes in the game Pedrão Lira did a throw-in, and the ball was quickly in game thanks to Seyit Bozbey. Julian Murillo might have been able to make a better finish in the 64th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Velimir Popchev. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Julian Murillo ran back to his position shaking his head. An unexpectedly hard shot by Hakkı Kenan Pınar in the 66th minute of play forced Peru's goalkeeper Rolando Noboa to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Velimir Popchev stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Julian Murillo's shot from short distance in the 67th minute. Eliseo Mina's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Velimir Popchev read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 70th minute of play. Peru's Rolando Noboa played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Hakkı Kenan Pınar in the 71st minute of play. Julian Murillo's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Velimir Popchev read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 73rd minute of play. Erkan Okan's late challenge caught a Peru's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Erkan Okan helped the player get up and apologised. Erkan Okan kicked well hit freekick during the 74th minute of the match. Velimir Popchev took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Eliseo Mina, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Luz Tejedor might have been able to make a better finish in the 79th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Velimir Popchev. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Luz Tejedor ran back to his position shaking his head. Peru's Antonio Tenorio was substituted for Luz Tejedor. Peru's Eliseo Alcocer was substituted for Moises Gayoso. Hakkı Kenan Pınar struck a weak shot in the 85th minute. Rolando Noboa didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for VN Keleler. Erkan Okan hit a great freekick 87 minutes into the match. In the 89th minute, Rafael Gallo made a precise shot to the right of Velimir Popchev. VN Keleler's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-2. 92 minutes into the game, Rafael Gallo cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 3-2. Velimir Popchev was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Rafael Gallo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 95th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Velimir Popchev having to interfere. When the referee ended the match the Peru players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
