Spectators: 44 (Terracing: 34, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Tomas Illescas took the kick off in the first half of the match. In the 3rd minute Patricio Costa shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Alfons Glad saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Venezuela's Jonathan Ferrant played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Lars-Erik Lidström in the 10th minute of play. After 12 played minutes Venezuela got a freekick which was hit by Jose Correa. After a defensive mix-up in Venezuela's zone, Leif Löfdahl stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Jonathan Ferrant came out of the goal and Leif Löfdahl tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After a rather tough play, Segmon IF's Lars-Erik Lidström got a free kick in the 15th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Patricio Costa in the 16th minute of play forced Segmon IF's goalkeeper Alfons Glad to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 20th minute, Tomas Illescas hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. With an all-out effort, Venezuela's Alfons Glad threw himself towards the right post 24 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Patricio Costa, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Tomas Illescas in the 26thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Alfons Glad, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. After 27 minutes, Jose Correa mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Venezuela and the Segmon IF players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 27th match minute, Venezuela was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jose Correa to maneuver through the defense. After having played for 28 minutes, Robert Dubiel managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Segmon IF's supporters crossed their fingers, but Robert Dubiel was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Robert Dubiel in the 31st managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Jonathan Ferrant saved Venezuela from getting behind. Robert Dubiel scored 0-1 in the 34th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Jonathan Ferrant, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Joshua Secada kicked well hit freekick during the 37th minute of the match. Venezuela's Jonathan Ferrant played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Leif Löfdahl in the 42nd minute of play. In the 43rd minute the ball was on its way in behind Venezuela's goalkeeper Jonathan Ferrant, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. After 44 minutes of play, Segmon IF's Leif Löfdahl made it 0-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Jonathan Ferrant was left in no man's land by his defense there! The Venezuela players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Segmon IF were winning 0-2.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Leif Löfdahl to strike the kick off in the second half. With a little luck, Venezuela's Jonathan Ferrant got control of the ball when Leif Löfdahl tried to sneak it across the goal line. Segmon IF's Robert Dubiel was standing unmarked in front of the goal when he, in the 52nd play minute, got the ball and easily drilled it into the goal. In the 55th minute, Hannes Haraldsson reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Jonathan Ferrant. The goal made the score 0-4. In the 59th minute Tomas Illescas shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Alfons Glad saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Jonathan Ferrant took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Robert Dubiel, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After some careless play in the Venezuela defense, Leif Löfdahl kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Jonathan Ferrant. The Venezuela fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Jonathan Ferrant should have stopped the shot. Robert Dubiel received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Jonathan Ferrant came out and tried to block the shot, but Robert Dubiel slotted it home off the left post making it 0-6 in the 68th minute. Leif Löfdahl was really disappointed when he shot the ball just outside the right post instead of scoring a goal in the 71st minute. Segmon IF's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. Through an outstanding action, after 73 minutes, Jonathan Ferrant successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. After 75 minutes Venezuela's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Joseph Österlund who took care of the corner kick. A nice corner shot did that Joseph Österlund got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Jonathan Ferrant quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. In the 77th minute, Segmon IF's Robert Dubiel ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Jonathan Ferrant. Jonathan Ferrant yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 0-7. In the 79th match minute, Segmon IF was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Joseph Österlund to maneuver through the defense. After a rather tough play, Segmon IF's Viktor Biörnberg got a free kick in the 84th minute. Tomas Illescas blasted a shot towards the goal in the 88th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Alfons Glad having to make a save. Jonathan Ferrant came out of the goal in the 94th minute to try and stop a shot by Segmon IF's Leif Löfdahl. But to his dismay, Leif Löfdahl quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-8. Segmon IF's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
