Spectators: 44 (Terracing: 34, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Tomas Illescas got the match started through his kick off. Alfons Glad took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Patricio Costa, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The Segmon IF fans' excitement grew in the 6th match minute when Segmon IF's Robert Dubiel looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-1 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. When Robert Dubiel came up free with the goalie in the 13th minute, the Segmon IF fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Robert Dubiel couldn't finish the play. Joseph Österlund took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 15th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Jonathan Ferrant. Venezuela's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. After 21st play minutes Robert Dubiel shot 0-2, a short shot which went by Jonathan Ferrant and just under the crossbar into goal. Hannes Haraldsson recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 23rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Jonathan Ferrant showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Lars-Erik Lidström, who was totally free with the ball in the 25th minute. A collision led to Venezuela getting a freekick after 25 minutes play. Jonathan Venegas hit a great ball. Robert Dubiel struck a weak shot in the 26th minute. Jonathan Ferrant didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Segmon IF. After a rather tough play, Venezuela's Patricio Costa got a free kick in the 29th minute. Jonathan Ferrant showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Robert Dubiel in the 31st minute of the match. 32 minutes into the game, Camilo Gaos was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Venezuela's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Segmon IF the free kick. After a rather tough play, Venezuela's Camilo Gaos got a free kick in the 33rd minute. After having played for 33 minutes, Joseph Österlund managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Segmon IF's supporters crossed their fingers, but Joseph Österlund was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. When the match had gone on for 35 minutes, Leif Löfdahl put it in 0-3 from a short distance just to the right of Jonathan Ferrant. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-3.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Leif Löfdahl stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Tomas Illescas struck a weak shot in the 54th minute. Alfons Glad didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Venezuela. Patricio Costa fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 56th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Alfons Glad having to interfere. The supporters of Venezuela booed when Segmon IF was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 63 match minutes in a wonderful position. Joseph Österlund didn't get a good kick on the ball. Patricio Costa received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 64th minute. Alfons Glad tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Robert Dubiel received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Jonathan Ferrant came out and tried to block the shot, but Robert Dubiel slotted it home off the left post making it 0-5 in the 69th minute. In the 71st match minute, Venezuela was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jonathan Venegas to maneuver through the defense. Jonathan Ferrant was a little too slow when Robert Dubiel got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 75th minute. The score was now 0-6. In the 81st minute of the match, Hannes Haraldsson tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Jonathan Ferrant saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. Joseph Österlund made in the 83rd minute of the game a fairly good throw-in which was taken care of by Viktor Biörnberg. Jonathan Ferrant stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Leif Löfdahl's shot from short distance in the 86th minute. After 90 minutes, Börje Finnman mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Segmon IF and the Venezuela players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 90th minute, Börje Finnman hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After a rather tough play, Venezuela's Camilo Gaos got a free kick in the 92nd minute. When the match was over Segmon IF could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Venezuela throughout the match.
