After 19 played minutes Venezuela got a freekick which was hit by Patricio Costa. 27 minutes had been played when some careless play by Venezuela's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Modesto Bernat was slow to take the kick. During this time POSSE 1911 FC's players had a chance to rest. Angel Xabel came out of the goal in the 31st minute to try and stop a shot by Venezuela's Patricio Costa. But to his dismay, Patricio Costa quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-1. Angel Xabel stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Tomas Illescas's shot from short distance in the 35th minute. Sérgio Aguero could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 41st minute of the match, but Jonathan Ferrant made a huge save. Sérgio Aguero took the ball and in the 43 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Jonathan Ferrant. Jonathan Ferrant dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-1. Tomas Illescas kicked well hit freekick during the 46th minute of the match. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-1.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Tomas Illescas to make the kick off. POSSE 1911 FC were awarded a corner in the 53th minute after Venezuela's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Modesto Bernat took the corner. The corner led POSSE 1911 FC's Alfredo Di Marco to a score. 3-1 in the 53rd minute. In the 60th minute, Lukas Lundgren left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The POSSE 1911 FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 4-1. After some fancy dribbling in the 63rd minute, Sérgio Aguero managed to get in a good position for a shot. POSSE 1911 FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Sérgio Aguero was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Jonathan Ferrant breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Sérgio Aguero fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 75th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jonathan Ferrant having to interfere. Jonathan Ferrant showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Sérgio Aguero, who was totally free with the ball in the 77th minute. 80 minutes into the match, Venezuela's goal looked a bit too open when Modesto Bernat came free, but Jonathan Ferrant reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 82 minutes into the match, Sérgio Aguero notched a goal, 5-1, to the right of Venezuela's Jonathan Ferrant. Jonathan Ferrant was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. In the 87th minute, Sérgio Aguero left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The POSSE 1911 FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 6-1. Angel Xabel made a fantastic save in the 91st minute, when Tomas Illescas sent off a good shot on target. In the 95th minute, Lukas Lundgren left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The POSSE 1911 FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 7-1. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. POSSE 1911 FC fully deserved thier win.
