Spectators: 47 (Terracing: 36, Seating: 11, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Hipolito Laurendi started the match with the kick off. In the 8th minute, Carlos Eufrasio hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Jacob Mays short, quick shot in the 17thth minute got Arif Ozan Oğuztan to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. 19 minutes into the match, Arrecifes's goal looked a bit too open when Monty Rogers came free, but Arif Ozan Oğuztan reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Monty Rogers in the 19th minute of play forced Arrecifes's goalkeeper Arif Ozan Oğuztan to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. With a little luck, Arrecifes's Arif Ozan Oğuztan got control of the ball when Cassius Byrne tried to sneak it across the goal line. Marco Day took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Carlos Eufrasio, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Arif Ozan Oğuztan made a fantastic save in the 34th minute, when Jacob May sent off a good shot on target. Arrecifes's Arif Ozan Oğuztan played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Edward Mcdonald in the 37th minute of play. In the 38th minute of the match USA got a corner. Arrecifes's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Cassius Byrne ran over to the corner to take the kick. Arif Ozan Oğuztan came out of the goal in the 39th minute to try and stop a shot by USA's Monty Rogers. But to his dismay, Monty Rogers quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-0. Arif Ozan Oğuztan showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Monty Rogers in the 43rd minute of the match. 45 minutes into the game, Carlos Eufrasio cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-1. Marco Day was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Cassius Byrne made a kick off. Arif Ozan Oğuztan made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Monty Rogers in the 52nd minute of play. Cassius Byrne fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 58th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Arif Ozan Oğuztan having to interfere. In the 60th minute Edward Mcdonald shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Arif Ozan Oğuztan saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. With his leg Marco Day managed to avoid a goal in the 63rdth minute, when Arrecifes's Carlos Eufrasio fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Cassius Byrne in the 67th minute of play forced Arrecifes's goalkeeper Arif Ozan Oğuztan to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Arif Ozan Oğuztan showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Cassius Byrne in the 70th minute of the match. Arif Ozan Oğuztan took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Cassius Byrne, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Arif Ozan Oğuztan showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Khalid Parry in the 89th minute of the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 91st minute, Sam Campbell managed to get in a good position for a shot. USA's supporters rose to their feet, but Sam Campbell was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Arif Ozan Oğuztan breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Arrecifes's Cirilo Ritchie got a good chance for a goal in the 94th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar.
