Spectators: 40 (Terracing: 31, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Leif Löfdahl started the match with the kick off. The crowd rose to their feet as Lars-Erik Lidström kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Julio Vera. That made the score 1-0 in the 5 minute of play. Daniel Zorita struck a weak shot in the 8th minute. Alfons Glad didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Ecuador. Alfons Glad showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Daniel Zorita, who was totally free with the ball in the 17th minute. 18 minutes into the match, Daniel Zorita had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Alfons Glad. Segmon IF's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Daniel Zorita was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-1. Alfons Glad took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Cristian Sancho, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 23rd minute Daniel Zorita shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Alfons Glad saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Through an outstanding action, after 25 minutes, Julio Vera successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. Alfons Glad didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Cristian Sancho went, in the 27th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-2 was the resulting score. In the 32nd minute, Cristian Sancho ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Alfons Glad was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-3. Leif Löfdahl who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 35thth minute tested the skills of Julio Vera when he managed to save the team from getting behind. After 36 minutes, Leif Löfdahl made it 2-3 with a short kick to the right side. Ecuador's Julio Vera tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 40th match minute, Ecuador was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Agustín Saelices to maneuver through the defense. Lars-Erik Lidström kicked well hit freekick during the 41st minute of the match. The supporters of Ecuador booed when Segmon IF was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 44 match minutes in a wonderful position. Robert Dubiel didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 45th minute, Viktor Biörnberg hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Daniel Zorita was the one to do the kick off. An unexpectedly hard shot by Cristian Sancho in the 52nd minute of play forced Segmon IF's goalkeeper Alfons Glad to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 55 minutes into the match, Robert Dubiel notched a goal, 3-3, to the right of Ecuador's Julio Vera. Julio Vera was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. 58 minutes into the match, Segmon IF's Lars-Erik Lidström sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Julio Vera narrowly saved just below the crossbar. The supporters of Ecuador booed when Segmon IF was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 60 match minutes in a wonderful position. Robert Dubiel didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 64th minute, Ecuador's Cristian Sancho dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 3-4. In the 71st minute, Felix Montenegro ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Alfons Glad was frozen by the shot and now it was 3-5. Alfons Glad made an important save on a dangerous shot by Agustín Saelices in the 75th minute. Alfons Glad didn't succeed to prevent the ball from going into goal when Ecuador's Cristian Sancho shot an unexpected shot in the crossbar's under edge and made 3-6 in the ordered_time% minute. Robert Dubiel blasted a shot towards the goal in the 84th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Julio Vera having to make a save. 87 minutes into the game, Agustín Saelices recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Alfons Glad. Agustín Saelices showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 3-7. Alfons Glad made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Cristian Sancho in the 92nd minute of play. Daniel Zorita recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 93rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Daniel Zorita sent away a hard shot on goal in the 96th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Ecuador played a much better game than Segmon IF and deserved their victory. The Segmon IF players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
