Spectators: 41 (Terracing: 32, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Jaime Pardo started the match with the kick off. The supporters of Paraguay booed when Katsilimaνika was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 7 match minutes in a wonderful position. Grigoris Moustakidis didn't get a good kick on the ball. Kostas Nikolaidis showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jaime Pardo, who was totally free with the ball in the 8th minute. Giannis Vovos made in the 10th minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by Paraguay's Primitivo Escribano. After some fancy dribbling in the 11th minute, Primitivo Escribano managed to get in a good position for a shot. Paraguay's supporters rose to their feet, but Primitivo Escribano was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Kostas Nikolaidis breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Paraguay's Jaime Pardo got a good chance for a goal in the 13th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Hector Covarrubias's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Kostas Nikolaidis read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 14th minute of play. In the 15th match minute, Katsilimaνika was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Grigoris Moustakidis to maneuver through the defense. Marinos Mouratidis scored 1-0 in the 26th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Jacobo Nores, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. After having played for 30 minutes, Jaime Pardo managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Paraguay's supporters crossed their fingers, but Jaime Pardo was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Jacobo Nores stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Marinos Kisemlis's shot from short distance in the 35th minute. Kostas Nikolaidis took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jaime Pardo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. A collision led to Paraguay getting a freekick after 45 minutes play. Hector Covarrubias hit a great ball. 46 minutes into the match, Katsilimaνika's Marinos Kisemlis sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Jacobo Nores narrowly saved just below the crossbar. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 1-0.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Marinos Kisemlis made a kick off. Kostas Nikolaidis took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jaime Pardo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Grigoris Moustakidis kicked well hit freekick during the 52nd minute of the match. The supporters of Katsilimaνika booed when Paraguay was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 58 match minutes in a wonderful position. Raul Venegas didn't get a good kick on the ball. When Marinos Mouratidis came up free with the goalie in the 61st minute, the Katsilimaνika fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Marinos Mouratidis couldn't finish the play. With a little luck, Katsilimaνika's Kostas Nikolaidis got control of the ball when Jaime Pardo tried to sneak it across the goal line. Jacobo Nores made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Marinos Mouratidis in the 69th minute of play. When Katsilimaνika's Marinos Mouratidis in the 72nd minute got a chance for a shot 72nd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Paraguay's goalie prevented a goal. Hector Covarrubias sent away a hard shot on goal in the 73rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After a rather tough play, Paraguay's Hector Covarrubias got a free kick in the 76th minute. If Primitivo Escribano had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 84th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The audience was convinced that Marinos Kisemlis's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Jacobo Nores was relentless in the 86th minute of the game. After a defensive mix-up in Katsilimaνika's zone, Jaime Pardo stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Kostas Nikolaidis came out of the goal and Jaime Pardo tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Primitivo Escribano received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 89th minute. Kostas Nikolaidis tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 96th minute Jaime Pardo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Kostas Nikolaidis saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Despite being the better team, Paraguay failed to find the winning goal and were forced to settle for a single point.
