Hector Covarrubias received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 16th minute. Zé Roberto Veiga tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 21st minute, Paraguay's Jaime Pardo ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Zé Roberto Veiga. Zé Roberto Veiga yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-0. After a rather tough play, Paraguay's Xavier Zoido got a free kick in the 30th minute. In the 35th minute, Hector Covarrubias got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. When the match had gone on for 37 minutes, Jaime Pardo put it in 2-0 from a short distance just to the right of Zé Roberto Veiga. Jaime Pardo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 43rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 45 minutes, Tomé Vale mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Osasco Hot Dogers and the Paraguay players grew even worse after the yellow card. Tomé Vale hit a great freekick 45 minutes into the match.

After 55 played minutes Osasco Hot Dogers got a freekick which was hit by Moisés Jacinto. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Tiaguinho Lira during the 57th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 57th match minute, Osasco Hot Dogers was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Tiaguinho Lira to maneuver through the defense. Tiaguinho Lira fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 61st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jacobo Nores having to interfere. If Luiz Paulo Carneiro had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 63rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. When Osasco Hot Dogers's Tiaguinho Lira in the 65th minute got a chance for a shot 65th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Paraguay's goalie prevented a goal. A nice corner shot did that Ivo Dracena got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Jacobo Nores quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. In the 71st minute, Xavier Zoido hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. If Jaime Pardo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 73rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 77th minute, Alan Campos hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Tiaguinho Lira sent away a hard shot on goal in the 88th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Tiaguinho Lira fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 94th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jacobo Nores having to interfere. When the referee ended the match the Paraguay players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
