In the 19thth minute of the game Daniel Zorita who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Snedspark IF's Ed De Goeij was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Ed De Goeij stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Daniel Zorita's shot from short distance in the 20th minute. When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Daniel Zorita made a kick off. Julio Vera showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Zeno Sama, who was totally free with the ball in the 70th minute. Snedspark IF were awarded a corner in the 71th minute after Ecuador's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Leif Skoog took the corner. After taking down the ball on Snedspark IF's corner Leif Skoog fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Julio Vera quite easily take care of the ball. The audience thought a goal was coming when Cristian Sancho got free with Ed De Goeij in the 74th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. If Cristian Sancho had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 79th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When Daniel Zorita came up free with the goalie in the 80th minute, the Ecuador fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Daniel Zorita couldn't finish the play. The supporters of Snedspark IF booed when Ecuador was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 82 match minutes in a wonderful position. Primitivo Andino didn't get a good kick on the ball. Ecuador played a much better game than Snedspark IF and deserved their victory. The Snedspark IF players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
