When Fausto Fioriti came up free with the goalie in the 7th minute, the Palestra14 fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Fausto Fioriti couldn't finish the play. In the 13th match minute, Palestra14 was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Fausto Fioriti to maneuver through the defense. Venezuela's Jonathan Ferrant proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 17th minute of the match, managed to save Venezuela from getting a goal against them.
