With an extended leg and a bit of luck Ricardo Zorita prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Gervasio Oier showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Moises Fernandino in the 25th minute of the match. Moises Fernandino scored 0-1 in the 28th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Gervasio Oier, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. A throw-in in the 32nd minute of the game was made by Luis Rubio with Abram Luque as target, who quickly passed the ball forward. 33 minutes into the match, Jarana FC's goal looked a bit too open when Moises Fernandino came free, but Gervasio Oier reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 34 played minutes Jarana FC got a freekick which was hit by Tobias Ospetsu. Jorge Magrina made in the 35th minute of the game a fairly good throw-in which was taken care of by Jesus Carvallo. The supporters of Jarana FC booed when El Salvador was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 52 match minutes in a wonderful position. Marco Tamayo didn't get a good kick on the ball. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Paolo Balasi in the 54th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Ricardo Zorita saved El Salvador from getting behind. Luis Rubio's late challenge caught a Jarana FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Luis Rubio helped the player get up and apologised. Luis Rubio kicked well hit freekick during the 56th minute of the match. When Mateo Leguizamo was, once again, overly rough in his play he received his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. 60 minutes had been played. In the 61st match minute, El Salvador was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Mateo Leguizamo to maneuver through the defense. A throw-in in the 68th minute of the game was made by Serafin Menendo with Godofredo Bertran as target, who quickly passed the ball forward. Ricardo Zorita showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Paolo Balasi, who was totally free with the ball in the 79th minute. Gervasio Oier made an important save on a dangerous shot by Moises Fernandino in the 80th minute. 81 minutes into the match, Jarana FC's goalkeeper Gervasio Oier had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Abram Luque. In the 95th minute, El Salvador's Moises Fernandino dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 0-2. The Jarana FC supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching El Salvador's performance. The match ended with a win for El Salvador.
