Snedspark IF's Kevin Bokelund got a good chance for a goal in the 29th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 39 minutes into the match, Snedspark IF's goal looked a bit too open when Tomas Illescas came free, but Ed De Goeij reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Guillermo Mariano hit a great freekick 42 minutes into the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Tomas Illescas in the 44th minute of play forced Snedspark IF's goalkeeper Ed De Goeij to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

The wind increased when Zeno Sama made the kick off in the second half. In the 53rd minute Hannes Christoffersson shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jonathan Ferrant saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Ed De Goeij made an important save on a dangerous shot by Tomas Illescas in the 56th minute. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Hannes Christoffersson couldn't finish the play. The throw-in from Kevin Samuelsson in the 73rd minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by Venezuela's Alex Chicote. After some fancy dribbling in the 74th minute, Tomas Illescas managed to get in a good position for a shot. Tomas Illescas was slow to take the kick. During this time Venezuela's players had a chance to rest. When the referee ended the match the Snedspark IF players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
