Spectators: 44 (Terracing: 34, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) Kjell Åkesson started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. In the 2nd match minute, Venezuela was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jose Correa to maneuver through the defense. Venezuela's Jonathan Ferrant played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Kjell Åkesson in the 3rd minute of play. Kjell Åkesson might have been able to make a better finish in the 6th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Jonathan Ferrant. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Kjell Åkesson ran back to his position shaking his head. After a defensive mix-up in Venezuela's zone, Kjell Åkesson stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Jonathan Ferrant came out of the goal and Kjell Åkesson tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 17th minute, Kjell Åkesson made a precise shot to the right of Jonathan Ferrant. Venezuela's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-0. Jonathan Ferrant didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Kjell Åkesson went, in the 23rd minute, to the upper right corner, 2-0 was the resulting score. Jonathan Ferrant made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Kjell Åkesson in the 31st minute of play. In the 31st match minute, Venezuela was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Tomas Illescas to maneuver through the defense. When Venezuela's Tomas Illescas in the 37th minute got a chance for a shot 37th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye JKs Talanger's goalie prevented a goal. Walter Wallander came out of the goal in the 41st minute to try and stop a shot by Venezuela's Tomas Illescas. But to his dismay, Tomas Illescas quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-1. After some fancy dribbling in the 45th minute, Kjell Åkesson managed to get in a good position for a shot. JKs Talanger's supporters rose to their feet, but Kjell Åkesson was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Jonathan Ferrant breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Roque Lauro hit a great freekick 47 minutes into the match. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-1.

The wind increased when Tomas Illescas made the kick off in the second half. In the 55th minute, Octavian Basten left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The JKs Talanger fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 3-1. In the 63rd minute, Kjell Åkesson ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Jonathan Ferrant was frozen by the shot and now it was 5-1. Tomas Illescas received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 70th minute. Walter Wallander tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Kjell Åkesson fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 71st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jonathan Ferrant having to interfere. The supporters of JKs Talanger booed when Venezuela was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 72 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jose Correa didn't get a good kick on the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Kjell Åkesson in the 73rd minute of play forced Venezuela's goalkeeper Jonathan Ferrant to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 75th match minute, Venezuela was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Alex Chicote to maneuver through the defense. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Octavian Basten in the 79th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Jonathan Ferrant prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Roque Lauro kicked well hit freekick during the 80th minute of the match. Alex Chicote hit a great freekick 82 minutes into the match. 84 minutes into the game, Kjell Åkesson cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 6-1. Jonathan Ferrant was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. An unexpectedly hard shot by Octavian Basten in the 87th minute of play forced Venezuela's goalkeeper Jonathan Ferrant to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 88th minute, Alex Chicote hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 90 minutes into the match, Kjell Åkesson notched a goal, 7-1, to the right of Venezuela's Jonathan Ferrant. Jonathan Ferrant was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. In the 96th minute the ball was on its way in behind Venezuela's goalkeeper Jonathan Ferrant, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. JKs Talanger fully deserved thier win.
