Spectators: 40 (Terracing: 31, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Frank Di Sante kicked off to start the match. The supporters of Venezuela booed when Lupacchiotti FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 3 match minutes in a wonderful position. Bruno Sacchi didn't get a good kick on the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Tomas Illescas in the 4th minute of play forced Lupacchiotti FC's goalkeeper 董诚潮 to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 5th minute the ball was on its way in behind Lupacchiotti FC's goalkeeper 董诚潮, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. If Patricio Costa had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 7th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Christian Sangermano kicked well hit freekick during the 8th minute of the match. After a defensive mix-up in Lupacchiotti FC's zone, Patricio Costa stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. 董诚潮 came out of the goal and Patricio Costa tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. A collision led to Venezuela getting a freekick after 14 minutes play. Salvador Gisbert hit a great ball. 董诚潮 took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Tomas Illescas, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Frank Di Sante received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 17th minute. Jonathan Ferrant tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Jose Correa charged in rather forcefully in the 22nd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Jose Correa the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. If Tomas Illescas had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 25th minute. Alberto Torelli didn't get a good kick on the ball. Tomas Illescas sent away a hard shot on goal in the 27th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Lupacchiotti FC's 董诚潮 played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Patricio Costa in the 31st minute of play. If Tomas Illescas had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 35th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 38 played minutes Lupacchiotti FC got a freekick which was hit by Christian Sangermano. Christian Sangermano charged in rather forcefully in the 40th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Christian Sangermano the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Frank Di Sante in the 42nd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Jonathan Ferrant prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-1 lead.

An unexpectedly hard shot by Frank Di Sante in the 55th minute of play forced Venezuela's goalkeeper Jonathan Ferrant to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 60 minutes, Ercole Sorge mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Lupacchiotti FC and the Venezuela players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 61st minute, Ercole Sorge hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Venezuela's Guillermo Mariano got a good chance for a goal in the 65th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Bruno Sacchi's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Jonathan Ferrant read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 70th minute of play. After having played for 76 minutes, Bruno Sacchi managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Lupacchiotti FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Bruno Sacchi was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After some careless play in the Venezuela defense, Frank Di Sante kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Jonathan Ferrant. The Venezuela fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Jonathan Ferrant should have stopped the shot. In the 90th minute, Venezuela's Jonathan Venegas seemed to kick out at an opponent. The referee saw this and, surprisingly, showed Jonathan Venegas the red card, dismissing him from the pitch. The coaching staff of Venezuela protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Jonathan Venegas had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. In the 96th minute of the game Christian Sangermano made a throw-in which Ermanno Leoni played forward.
