The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-1.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. José Augusto Rosa was the one to do the kick off. Julian Murillo could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 83rd minute of the match, but Izydor Wolnik made a huge save. Peru's Eliseo Alcocer was substituted for Moises Gayoso. Peru made a substitution. Antonio Tenorio replaced Luz Tejedor. Peru's Eliseo Mina managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Cristiano Batista in the 85 minute of the game. In the 88th minute of the game Timur Orkutay made a throw-in which Evaristo Fernandez played forward. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. Peru walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
