Julio Vera made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Miroslav Šípka in the 3rd minute of play. In the 5th minute Daniel Zorita shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but František Huba saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. František Huba showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Luis Andino, who was totally free with the ball in the 8th minute. In the 13th minute Cristian Sancho shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but František Huba saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Burning Angels's František Huba played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Cristian Sancho in the 16th minute of play. František Huba showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Daniel Zorita in the 18th minute of the match. After 21 played minutes Ecuador got a freekick which was hit by Felix Montes. In the 25th minute, Luis Andino hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. With a little luck, Ecuador's Julio Vera got control of the ball when Dávid Čiliak tried to sneak it across the goal line. Daniel Zorita's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but František Huba read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 28th minute of play. Ecuador were awarded a corner in the 32th minute after Burning Angels's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Daniel Zorita took the corner. After taking down the ball on Ecuador's corner Cristian Sancho fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and František Huba quite easily take care of the ball. Daniel Lapač might have been able to make a better finish in the 35th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Julio Vera. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Daniel Lapač ran back to his position shaking his head. Burning Angels's František Huba played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Cristian Sancho in the 38th minute of play. Felix Montes kicked well hit freekick during the 39th minute of the match. Julio Vera didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Dávid Čiliak went, in the 46th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-0 was the resulting score.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Miroslav Šípka stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. A collision led to Burning Angels getting a freekick after 57 minutes play. Martin Cicman hit a great ball. Dávid Čiliak received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 60th minute. Julio Vera tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. A collision led to Ecuador getting a freekick after 66 minutes play. Camilo Gisbert hit a great ball. If Dávid Čiliak had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 73rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Burning Angels's Modesto Barto was substituted for Dávid Čiliak. In the 76th minute, Agustín Saelices ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. František Huba was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-2. Daniel Zorita came free with the goalkeeper in the 88th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and František Huba could save by the left post. In the 89th minute, Modesto Barto hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Agustín Saelices could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 96th minute of the match, but František Huba made a huge save. When the match was over Ecuador could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Burning Angels throughout the match.
