Spectators: 40 (Terracing: 31, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Axel Tasis started the match with the kick off. In the 3rd minute, Juan Rubio hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Benito Sanz didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Arnaldo Dalmu went, in the 6th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-0 was the resulting score. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Axel Tasis during the 10th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Efrain Moruga hit a great freekick 11 minutes into the match. Tota Fabri could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 12th minute of the match, but Benito Sanz made a huge save. 15 minutes into the match, Los Laguneros de AT's goal looked a bit too open when Lautaro Puig came free, but Guaberto Isaio reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After some fancy dribbling in the 18th minute, Tuta Torres managed to get in a good position for a shot. Los Laguneros de AT's supporters rose to their feet, but Tuta Torres was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Benito Sanz breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Axel Tasis in the 20th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Guaberto Isaio prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Desiderio Frederik kicked well hit freekick during the 21st minute of the match. 24 minutes into the match, Arnaldo Dalmu notched a goal, 2-0, to the right of Costa Rica's Benito Sanz. Benito Sanz was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Gerardo Gasteiz received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 34th minute. In the 44th minute Tuta Torres shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Benito Sanz saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Los Laguneros de AT's attack was well implemented in the 45th minute, but when Tuta Torres was about to shoot he didn't get a good hit on the ball and it hit the crossbar and flew over. Goal Kick. In the 47th minute, Juan Rubio hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Af the end of the first half the score was 2-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Gerardo Gasteiz stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. In the 52nd match minute, Costa Rica was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Efrain Moruga to maneuver through the defense. Costa Rica's Benito Sanz played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gerardo Gasteiz in the 57th minute of play. A collision led to Costa Rica getting a freekick after 88 minutes play. Alan Moruga hit a great ball. Benito Sanz took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Arnaldo Dalmu, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When the referee ended the match the Los Laguneros de AT players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
