Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Tomas Illescas took the kick off in the first half of the match. After 3 minutes, Camilo Gaos mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Venezuela and the La Scaloneta players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 3 played minutes Venezuela got a freekick which was hit by Camilo Gaos. Venezuela's Jonathan Ferrant proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 8th minute of the match, managed to save Venezuela from getting a goal against them. Dibag Martinez showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Tomas Illescas in the 10th minute of the match. Venezuela's Patricio Costa got a good chance for a goal in the 11th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 13th minute, Camilo Gaos hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. La Scaloneta's Lion Messi got a good chance for a goal in the 14th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Marcos Acuña kicked well hit freekick during the 22nd minute of the match. Lautaro Martinezs short, quick shot in the 24thth minute got Jonathan Ferrant to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Jonathan Ferrant was out of position in the 28 minute of play, and Lion Messi capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Lion Messi really showed his touch with that goal: 1-0. The supporters of Venezuela booed when La Scaloneta was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 30 match minutes in a wonderful position. Nicolás Otamendi didn't get a good kick on the ball. Jonathan Ferrant didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Lion Messi went, in the 31st minute, to the upper right corner, 2-0 was the resulting score. After a rather tough play, Venezuela's Camilo Gaos got a free kick in the 39th minute. In the 40th minute, Leandro Paredes fired a really elegant long shot, but Jonathan Ferrant threw himself and managed to get hold of the ball just in front of the right post. Marcos Acuña kicked well hit freekick during the 41st minute of the match. In the 42nd minute the ball was on its way in behind La Scaloneta's goalkeeper Dibag Martinez, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. In the 48th minute of the match, Paulo Dybala tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Jonathan Ferrant saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. Af the end of the first half the score was 3-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.
The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Lion Messi stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. The audience was convinced that Lautaro Martinez's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Jonathan Ferrant was relentless in the 51st minute of the game. In the 54th minute Leandro Paredes shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jonathan Ferrant saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Lautaro Martinez had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 56th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Jonathan Ferrant made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Lautaro Martinez in the 58th minute of play. In the 59th minute Lautaro Martinez shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jonathan Ferrant saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Tomas Illescas fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 63rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Dibag Martinez having to interfere. 65 minutes into the match, Venezuela's goal looked a bit too open when Lion Messi came free, but Jonathan Ferrant reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. La Scaloneta made a substitution. Julián Álvarez replaced Lion Messi. In the 68th minute La Scaloneta were awarded a corner. Leandro Paredes went to the cornerflag to take it. A nice corner shot did that Leandro Paredes got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Jonathan Ferrant quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. 72 minutes into the match, Julián Álvarez had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Jonathan Ferrant. Venezuela's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Julián Álvarez was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 4-0. A collision led to Venezuela getting a freekick after 79 minutes play. Camilo Gaos hit a great ball. After a rather tough play, La Scaloneta's Cristian Romero got a free kick in the 81st minute. Tomas Illescas struck a weak shot in the 81st minute. Dibag Martinez didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Venezuela. After 87th play minutes Julián Álvarez shot 5-0, a short shot which went by Jonathan Ferrant and just under the crossbar into goal. 91 minutes into the match, Venezuela's Tomas Illescas sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Dibag Martinez narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Patricio Costa kicked well hit freekick during the 96th minute of the match. There was no doubt that La Scaloneta were the better team. La Scaloneta's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
