Peru's Eliseo Mina managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Carmelo Salantes in the 11 minute of the game. In the 14th minute Eliseo Mina shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Przemyslaw Tscherner saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Peru's attentive Eliseo Mina managed to snatch the ball when Di Feng Zhen made a throw-in in the 15th minute of the game. In the 18th minute Julian Murillo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Przemyslaw Tscherner saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 21st minute the ball was on its way in behind Magic Canhotas FC -DMZ-'s goalkeeper Przemyslaw Tscherner, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Julian Murillo scored 2-0 in the 43rd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Przemyslaw Tscherner, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. A sloppy throw-in by Di Feng Zhen in the 46th minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by Peru's Eliseo Mina. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-0.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Julian Murillo made a kick off. Andrey Kovtun's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Rolando Noboa read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 52nd minute of play. After 53 played minutes Magic Canhotas FC -DMZ- got a freekick which was hit by Viorel Buș. 55 minutes into the match, Julian Murillo had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Przemyslaw Tscherner. Magic Canhotas FC -DMZ-'s manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Julian Murillo was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 3-0. Julian Murillo struck a weak shot in the 58th minute. Przemyslaw Tscherner didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Peru. In the 63rd minute, Julian Murillo made a precise shot to the right of Przemyslaw Tscherner. Magic Canhotas FC -DMZ-'s defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 4-0. In the 74th minute Zé Carlos Vaz shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Rolando Noboa saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Magic Canhotas FC -DMZ- were awarded a corner in the 75th minute after Peru's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Zé Carlos Vaz took the corner. A nice corner shot did that Andrey Kovtun got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Rolando Noboa quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. The supporters of Magic Canhotas FC -DMZ- booed when Peru was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 76 match minutes in a wonderful position. Milagros Fraga didn't get a good kick on the ball. 79 minutes into the match, Peru's Julian Murillo sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Przemyslaw Tscherner narrowly saved just below the crossbar. 81 minutes into the match, Julian Murillo notched a goal, 5-0, to the right of Magic Canhotas FC -DMZ-'s Przemyslaw Tscherner. Przemyslaw Tscherner was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Peru's Antonio Tenorio was substituted for Luz Tejedor. Peru's Rafael Gallo was substituted for Julian Murillo. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 86th minute of the game. One of Peru:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Magic Canhotas FC -DMZ-:s goal. Zé Carlos Vaz shot the penalty kick by force right in the crossbar. No goal. Eliseo Mina fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 91st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Przemyslaw Tscherner having to interfere. A throw-in in the 96th minute of the game was made by Di Feng Zhen with Ryszard Nowak as target, who quickly passed the ball forward. Antonio Tenorio sent away a hard shot on goal in the 98th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Peru walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
