Spectators: 40 (Terracing: 31, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Paolo Balasi started the match with the kick off. Eliseo Noboa received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 3rd minute. Gervasio Oier tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Gervasio Oier showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Lautaro Puig, who was totally free with the ball in the 6th minute. When Aaron Alcocer fell near the penalty area in the 9th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Costa Rica's protests and gave Aaron Alcocer a yellow card for diving instead. Aaron Alcocer kicked well hit freekick during the 9th minute of the match. 10 minutes into the game, Efrain Moruga threw the ball into play from the sideline. Jarana FC's Paolo Fernendo quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion. Efrain Moruga got a throw-in 12 minutes in the game and the ball was received by Eliseo Noboa. A collision led to Costa Rica getting a freekick after 12 minutes play. Alan Moruga hit a great ball. Jarana FC's attentive Angelo Di María managed to snatch the ball when Efrain Moruga made a throw-in in the 17th minute of the game. The throw-in from Hugo Ferrant in the 19th minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by Jarana FC's Tobias Ospetsu. After 20 played minutes Costa Rica got a freekick which was hit by Lautaro Puig. 21 minutes into the match, Paolo Balasi dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Benito Sanz, 1-0. After 27 minutes, Hugo Ferrant mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Costa Rica and the Jarana FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. Hugo Ferrant kicked well hit freekick during the 28th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Eliseo Noboa in the 31st minute of play forced Jarana FC's goalkeeper Gervasio Oier to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. If Axel Tasis had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 33rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Gervasio Oier didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Eliseo Noboa went, in the 34th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-1 was the resulting score. Jarana FC's Tobias Ospetsu managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Hugo Ferrant in the 37 minute of the game. After some careless play in the Costa Rica defense, Paolo Fernendo kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Benito Sanz. The Costa Rica fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Benito Sanz should have stopped the shot. A collision led to Jarana FC getting a freekick after 44 minutes play. Paolo Balasi hit a great ball.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Axel Tasis stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Axel Tasis's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 53rdth minute, Gervasio Oier skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. Costa Rica's Axel Tasis was standing unmarked in front of the goal when he, in the 53rd play minute, got the ball and easily drilled it into the goal. In the 55th minute, Tobias Ospetsu hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The throw-in from Hugo Ferrant in the 62nd minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by Jarana FC's Tobias Ospetsu. In the 64thth minute of the game Paolo Fernendo who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Costa Rica's Benito Sanz was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Jarana FC's attentive Angelo Di María managed to snatch the ball when Efrain Moruga made a throw-in in the 65th minute of the game. A sloppy throw-in by Efrain Moruga in the 68th minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by Jarana FC's Angelo Di María. A throw-in in the 69th minute of the game was made by Efrain Moruga with Eliseo Noboa as target, who quickly passed the ball forward. After having played for 72 minutes, Paolo Fernendo managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Jarana FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Paolo Fernendo was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The supporters of Jarana FC booed when Costa Rica was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 81 match minutes in a wonderful position. Alan Moruga didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 82 played minutes, Jarana FC's Angelo Di María shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Benito Sanz came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Jarana FC reached it. Axel Tasis recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 84th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 88 minutes into the match, Costa Rica's goal looked a bit too open when Paolo Balasi came free, but Benito Sanz reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. A sloppy throw-in by Hugo Ferrant in the 90th minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by Jarana FC's Tobias Ospetsu. A collision led to Costa Rica getting a freekick after 95 minutes play. Axel Tasis hit a great ball. Costa Rica succeeded in salvaging a draw, even though Jarana FC had controlled the match.
