With a couple of smart ball manuevers Bishop Fazey in the 5th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Dante Lacasa saved Mexico from getting behind. Erol Suer showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Alberto Tafalla in the 7th minute of the match. 9 minutes into the game, Bishop Fazey cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-0. Dante Lacasa was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Dante Lacasa showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jan Persson in the 13th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jan Persson in the 17th minute of play forced Mexico's goalkeeper Dante Lacasa to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 19th minute Alberto Tafalla shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Erol Suer saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Joel Gaona was slow to take the kick. During this time Mexico's players had a chance to rest. The audience thought a goal was coming when Jan Persson got free with Dante Lacasa in the 37th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Dante Lacasa showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jan Persson, who was totally free with the ball in the 38th minute. 43 minutes into the match, Büyükçekmece FC.'s goal looked a bit too open when Luca Zorita came free, but Erol Suer reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Dante Lacasa was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Jan Persson showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 2-0 in the 46 minute of play. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 2-0 at half-time.

Büyükçekmece FC.'s defense didn't have a chance, in the 85th minute, when Joel Gaona scored to the left of an out of position Erol Suer, making the score, 3-2. Büyükçekmece FC. succeeded in salvaging a draw, even though Mexico had controlled the match.
