Ramón de Godoi kicked well hit freekick during the 4th minute of the match. Tiaguinho Lira hit a great freekick 5 minutes into the match. If Abram Luque had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 9th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 11th match minute, Osasco Hot Dogers was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ramón de Godoi to maneuver through the defense. Zé Roberto Veiga made a fantastic save in the 14th minute, when Moises Fernandino sent off a good shot on target. Moises Fernandino could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 17th minute of the match, but Zé Roberto Veiga made a huge save. After some careless play in the El Salvador defense, Tiaguinho Lira kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Ricardo Zorita. The El Salvador fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Ricardo Zorita should have stopped the shot. In the 26th minute Tiaguinho Lira shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ricardo Zorita saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. El Salvador's Ricardo Zorita played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Tiaguinho Lira in the 27th minute of play. Tiaguinho Lira fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 29th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ricardo Zorita having to interfere. In the 35th minute, Moises Fernandino got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. With a little luck, Osasco Hot Dogers's Zé Roberto Veiga got control of the ball when Moises Fernandino tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 43rd minute, Tiaguinho Lira made a precise shot to the right of Ricardo Zorita. El Salvador's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-2. Ricardo Zorita showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Tiaguinho Lira in the 46th minute of the match.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Moises Fernandino to strike the kick off in the second half. In the 53rd minute, Luiz Paulo Carneiro hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 57 minutes of play, El Salvador's Moises Fernandino made it 1-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Zé Roberto Veiga was left in no man's land by his defense there! In the 65th minute the ball was on its way in behind El Salvador's goalkeeper Ricardo Zorita, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. If Abram Luque had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 67th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Luiz Paulo Carneiro received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Ricardo Zorita came out and tried to block the shot, but Luiz Paulo Carneiro slotted it home off the left post making it 1-3 in the 74th minute. After a defensive mix-up in Osasco Hot Dogers's zone, Abram Luque stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Zé Roberto Veiga came out of the goal and Abram Luque tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. El Salvador were furious when Lorenzo Yepes was red carded, 80 minutes into the game, but the referee dismissed their protests. 79 minutes into the game, one of El Salvador:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. After 85 played minutes El Salvador got a freekick which was hit by Luis Rubio. Osasco Hot Dogers's Ivo Dracena got a good chance for a goal in the 86th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Moises Fernandino fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 90th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Zé Roberto Veiga having to interfere. Ricardo Zorita made an important save on a dangerous shot by Tiaguinho Lira in the 96th minute. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. Osasco Hot Dogers had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
