Stuart Caton was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. When Axel Tasis came up free with the goalie in the 35th minute, the Costa Rica fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Axel Tasis couldn't finish the play. Egg Chasers FC's Billy Bedford managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Hugo Ferrant in the 38 minute of the game. Efrain Moruga made in the 44th minute of the game a quick throw-in and Eliseo Noboa immediately put the ball in play. Zane Holt got his second yellow card in the match during the 44th minute which meant that he had to leave the ground. The supporters of Costa Rica booed when Egg Chasers FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 45 match minutes in a wonderful position. Zane Holt didn't get a good kick on the ball. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 3-0 at half-time.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Ricky Rowe stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Egg Chasers FC's Edward Preston quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Efrain Moruga, made in the 52nd minute of the game. Stuart Caton made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Aaron Alcocer in the 54th minute of play. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Axel Tasis in the 59th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Stuart Caton saved Egg Chasers FC from getting behind. Lautaro Puig charged in rather forcefully in the 63rd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Lautaro Puig the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After a rather tough play, Costa Rica's Lautaro Puig got a free kick in the 63rd minute. When the referee blew the final whistle, Costa Rica could leave the field as winners, despite Egg Chasers FC having more of the ball for most of the match.
