In the 4th minute, Ronny Skytt hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 12 minutes into the match, LVCVS AVGVSTI's goal looked a bit too open when Cassius Byrne came free, but Rosario Escarza reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. USA's Marco Day played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Venancio Olayo in the 14th minute of play. After 15 minutes USA's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Venancio Olayo who took care of the corner kick. After 16 minutes of play, USA's Cassius Byrne made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Rosario Escarza was left in no man's land by his defense there! 18 minutes into the match, Baldomero Chano dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Marco Day, 1-1. Ronny Skytt received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 22nd minute. Marco Day tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Rosario Escarza showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Monty Rogers, who was totally free with the ball in the 24th minute. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Cassius Byrne in the 26th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Rosario Escarza saved LVCVS AVGVSTI from getting behind. 33 minutes into the match, LVCVS AVGVSTI's goal looked a bit too open when Monty Rogers came free, but Rosario Escarza reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Monty Rogers blasted a shot towards the goal in the 34th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Rosario Escarza having to make a save. Thanks to some nice moves Du Yuan Chao could shoot a difficult shot in the 37th minute, which Marco Day however easily saved by the left post. 38 minutes into the match, LVCVS AVGVSTI's goal looked a bit too open when Edward Mcdonald came free, but Rosario Escarza reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Gustavo Arantes hit a great freekick 42 minutes into the match. The score stood at 1-1 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Cassius Byrne stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. With a little luck, LVCVS AVGVSTI's Rosario Escarza got control of the ball when Zach Harrison tried to sneak it across the goal line. Amadeo Jax kicked well hit freekick during the 56th minute of the match. Cassius Byrnes short, quick shot in the 58thth minute got Rosario Escarza to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. When the match clock showed 58 minutes, the score became 1-3 when Cassius Byrne sped through LVCVS AVGVSTI's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Rosario Escarza. Baldomero Chano fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 60th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Marco Day having to interfere. Rosario Escarza took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Cassius Byrne, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 63rd minute Baldomero Chano shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Marco Day saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 66 minutes, Du Yuan Chao made it 2-3 with a short kick to the right side. USA's Marco Day tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. USA's Sam Campbell was substituted for Cassius Byrne. LVCVS AVGVSTI made a substitution. Zef Zoff replaced Ronny Skytt. When the match had gone on for 73 minutes, Sam Campbell took a quick shot and it went in 2-4 without a chance for Rosario Escarza to make any attempt to save it. An unexpectedly hard shot by Sam Campbell in the 76th minute of play forced LVCVS AVGVSTI's goalkeeper Rosario Escarza to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 78th minute Du Yuan Chao shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Marco Day saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Marco Day showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Du Yuan Chao in the 79th minute of the match. USA's Marco Baker was substituted for Edward Mcdonald. The corner ended in Qian Hong Ting almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but USA's Marco Day did a great save. Rosario Escarza made an important save on a dangerous shot by Sam Campbell in the 84th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Baldomero Chano in the 89th minute of play forced USA's goalkeeper Marco Day to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Marco Day showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Zef Zoff in the 92nd minute of the match. USA's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
