The tension between the Venezuela and the Piratas FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. Alex Chicote kicked well hit freekick during the 9th minute of the match. When Kryspin Degutis fell near the penalty area in the 11th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Piratas FC's protests and gave Kryspin Degutis a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to Venezuela getting a freekick after 16 minutes play. Through a fast twist with his body, he could stop the ball from going in on his right side. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Tomas Illescas in the 19th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Raimond Lenk saved Piratas FC from getting behind. An unexpectedly hard shot by Tomas Illescas in the 25th minute of play forced Piratas FC's goalkeeper Raimond Lenk to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. A sloppy throw-in by Salvador Gisbert in the 27th minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by Piratas FC's Esteban Iztal. In the 60th minute, Constantino Idacio got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The supporters of Venezuela booed when Piratas FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 69 match minutes in a wonderful position. Spyros Zacharioudakis didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 70th minute, Patricio Costa ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Raimond Lenk was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-1. Despite this Raimond Lenk quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. Piratas FC were awarded a corner in the 83th minute after Venezuela's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Esteban Iztal took the corner. The corner went over the outstretched arms of Venezuela's goalie and right to Spyros Zacharioudakis. He fired away a shot at goal, but the shot had too much spin, and it went just outside the goal. Venezuela's manager breathed a sigh of relief on the sidelines as his team had managed to escape an almost certain goal. Through an outstanding action, after 85 minutes, Raimond Lenk successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. Venezuela's Patricio Costa got his second yellow card of the match in the 86th minute. The referee ordered Patricio Costa off the ground. A collision led to Venezuela getting a freekick after 86 minutes play. Patricio Costa hit a great ball. Venezuela's Jonathan Ferrant played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Constantino Idacio in the 88th minute of play. After a rather tough play, Piratas FC's Kryspin Degutis got a free kick in the 92nd minute. Neither set of supporters seemed pleased with the draw, but both teams had played equally well today.
