Spectators: 41 (Terracing: 32, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Joel Gaona got the match started through his kick off. 8 minutes into the match, Grêmio Bulls's goal looked a bit too open when Facundo Cadaval came free, but Henrique Prata reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Lautaro Mancebo scored 0-1 in the 9th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Henrique Prata, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Tony Toscano hit a great freekick 14 minutes into the match. Henrique Prata showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Lautaro Mancebo in the 16th minute of the match. Grêmio Bulls's Henrique Prata played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Lautaro Mancebo in the 18th minute of play. 21 minutes into the match, Grêmio Bulls's goal looked a bit too open when Lautaro Mancebo came free, but Henrique Prata reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 28th match minute, Grêmio Bulls was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Tony Toscano to maneuver through the defense. In the 29th minute Alberto Tafalla shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Henrique Prata saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 30th minute of the match Mexico got a corner. Grêmio Bulls's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Joel Gaona ran over to the corner to take the kick. An unexpectedly hard shot by Lautaro Mancebo in the 32nd minute of play forced Grêmio Bulls's goalkeeper Henrique Prata to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Henrique Prata took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Lautaro Mancebo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 39th minute Grêmio Bulls were awarded a corner. Sebastião Tróia went to the cornerflag to take it. After a rather tough play, Grêmio Bulls's Wei Shu Gang got a free kick in the 42nd minute. The supporters of Grêmio Bulls booed when Mexico was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 43 match minutes in a wonderful position. Alberto Tafalla didn't get a good kick on the ball. With an all-out effort, Grêmio Bulls's Dante Lacasa threw himself towards the right post 45 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Rowen Doherty, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. After the first half Mexico were leading 0-1. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Romulo Lehen made a kick off. Alberto Tafalla sent away a hard shot on goal in the 54th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 58 played minutes Grêmio Bulls got a freekick which was hit by Romulo Lehen. 61 minutes into the game, Wei Shu Gang cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-1. Dante Lacasa was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Grêmio Bulls's Pedrão Prata was substituted for Romulo Lehen. Grêmio Bulls made a substitution. Mauro Sena replaced Rowen Doherty. In the 69th minute Pedrão Prata shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Dante Lacasa saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Joel Gaona in the 70th minute of play forced Grêmio Bulls's goalkeeper Henrique Prata to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Macos Graciani made a great header on Mexico's corner, it was just that Grêmio Bulls's Henrique Prata managed to reach the ball for a save. After some fancy dribbling in the 75th minute, Alberto Tafalla managed to get in a good position for a shot. In the 83rd minute Pedrão Prata shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Dante Lacasa saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The audience was convinced that Pedrão Prata's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Dante Lacasa was relentless in the 90th minute of the game. In the 94th minute, Lautaro Mancebo ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Henrique Prata was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-2. The Mexico players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
