With an extended leg and a bit of luck Julio Vera prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Dadá Viana showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Luis Andino in the 32nd minute of the match. 34 minutes into the game, Fred Loyola was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Dal 3ello's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Ecuador the free kick. The supporters of Ecuador booed when Dal 3ello was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 34 match minutes in a wonderful position. Fred Loyola didn't get a good kick on the ball. With a little luck, Dal 3ello's Dadá Viana got control of the ball when Daniel Zorita tried to sneak it across the goal line. Dal 3ello's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Luis Andino was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-5. Felix Montenegro scored 1-6 in the 63rd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Dadá Viana, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Noel Toscano kicked well hit freekick during the 67th minute of the match. The crowd rose to their feet as Ecuador's Daniel Zorita slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Dadá Viana. That made the score 1-7 after 70 minutes of play. Thanks to some nice moves Daniel Zorita could shoot a difficult shot in the 75th minute, which Dadá Viana however easily saved by the left post.
