Gustaf Snell's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Rolando Noboa read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 12th minute of play. 14 minutes into the match, Wetterqvist Boys BK's goal looked a bit too open when Milagros Fraga came free, but Nils-Åke Dahlqvist reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 15 minutes Wetterqvist Boys BK's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Luz Tejedor who took care of the corner kick. The corner led Peru's Milagros Fraga to fire away a dangerous shot which Nils-Åke Dahlqvist despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. Nils-Åke Dahlqvist didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Milagros Fraga went, in the 15th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-1 was the resulting score. The Wetterqvist Boys BK players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Peru were winning 0-2.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Timmy Bergfeldt made a kick off. Milagros Fraga recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 55th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Nils-Åke Dahlqvist made a fantastic save in the 58th minute, when Julian Murillo sent off a good shot on target. An unexpectedly hard shot by Timmy Bergfeldt in the 59th minute of play forced Peru's goalkeeper Rolando Noboa to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Nils-Åke Dahlqvist made an important save on a dangerous shot by Luz Tejedor in the 61st minute. Rolando Noboa made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gustaf Snell in the 64th minute of play. Wetterqvist Boys BK's supporters crossed their fingers, but Östen Holmberg was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Wetterqvist Boys BK's Nils-Åke Dahlqvist played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Rafael Gallo in the 88th minute of play. After 92 played minutes Peru got a freekick which was hit by Anthony Alvarado. In the 93rd minute, Timmy Bergfeldt left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Wetterqvist Boys BK fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-2. Neither set of supporters seemed pleased with the draw, but both teams had played equally well today.
