When Jaime Pardo came up free with the goalie in the 4th minute, the Paraguay fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Jaime Pardo couldn't finish the play. 6 minutes into the game, Juan Diego Tenorio threw the ball into play from the sideline. Vlashers's Isac Angelescu quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion. Vali Armanca made an important save on a dangerous shot by Jaime Pardo in the 18th minute. Hector Covarrubias took the ball and in the 19 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Vali Armanca. Vali Armanca dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-0. Jaime Pardo succeeded to score despite a near miss that spronge from right pole into the goal to 3-0 in the 24th playminute. When Hector Covarrubias came up free with the goalie in the 27th minute, the Paraguay fans jumped to their feet. Vali Armanca took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jaime Pardo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Vali Armanca stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Jaime Pardo's shot from short distance in the 31st minute. Vali Armanca made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Primitivo Escribano in the 32nd minute of play. 34 minutes into the game, Jaime Pardo lined in a short shot 4-0 behind a frustrated Vali Armanca. If Primitivo Escribano had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 38th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Paraguay's Jaime Pardo got a good chance for a goal in the 39th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Jaime Pardos short, quick shot in the 41stth minute got Vali Armanca to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. In the 46th minute Hector Covarrubias shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Vali Armanca saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. With his leg Vali Armanca managed to avoid a goal in the 47thth minute, when Paraguay's Jaime Pardo fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 4-0.

The wind increased when Jaime Pardo made the kick off in the second half. 53 minutes into the match, Vlashers's goal looked a bit too open when Jaime Pardo came free, but Vali Armanca reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Hector Covarrubias in the 73rd minute of play forced Vlashers's goalkeeper Vali Armanca to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 74th minute Jaime Pardo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Vali Armanca saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Iker Tafalla took the ball and in the 76 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Vali Armanca. Vali Armanca dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 7-0. Vlashers's Vali Armanca played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jaime Pardo in the 79th minute of play. Hector Covarrubias sent away a hard shot on goal in the 81st minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. 83 minutes into the match, Paraguay's Hector Covarrubias sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Vali Armanca narrowly saved just below the crossbar. An unexpectedly hard shot by Primitivo Escribano in the 84th minute of play forced Vlashers's goalkeeper Vali Armanca to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Vali Armanca made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jaime Pardo in the 87th minute of play. Hector Covarrubias's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Vali Armanca read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 88th minute of play. Jaime Pardo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 94th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Vali Armanca stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Jaime Pardo's shot from short distance in the 97th minute.
