After a defensive mix-up in Tequila Sunrise's zone, Eduardo Fontirroig stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Tolek Gecionis came out of the goal and Eduardo Fontirroig tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 14th minute, Alfredo Ferrant managed to get in a good position for a shot. Bolivia's supporters rose to their feet, but Alfredo Ferrant was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Tolek Gecionis breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 17 minutes into the game, Mario Fernandino cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-1. Tolek Gecionis was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. After some fancy dribbling in the 21st minute, Mario Fernandino managed to get in a good position for a shot. Camilo Freixa showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Sebastian Malewicz, who was totally free with the ball in the 34th minute. Sebastian Malewicz succeeded in the game's 34th minute to shoot an unreachable shot under the crossbar and scored - 2-1. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Bolivia reached it. Neither set of supporters seemed pleased with the draw, but both teams had played equally well today.
