Daniel Zorita ran back to his position shaking his head. An unexpectedly hard shot by Daniel Zorita in the 23rd minute of play forced ㄇㄜㄕ 01-07-24's goalkeeper Alexandro Gavilanes to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Ecuador's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Daniel Zorita in the 24th minute. The corner ended in Daniel Zorita almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but ㄇㄜㄕ 01-07-24's Alexandro Gavilanes did a great save. Tansel Aydemir recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 30th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After 31 minutes of play, Ecuador's Daniel Zorita made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Alexandro Gavilanes was left in no man's land by his defense there! Tansel Aydemir blasted a shot towards the goal in the 37th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Julio Vera having to make a save. In the 37th minute Tansel Aydemir shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Julio Vera saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The supporters of Ecuador booed when ㄇㄜㄕ 01-07-24 was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 42 match minutes in a wonderful position. Sorin Receanu didn't get a good kick on the ball. After the first half Ecuador were leading 0-1. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

Julio Vera made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Toninho Vander in the 70th minute of play. The supporters of Ecuador booed when ㄇㄜㄕ 01-07-24 was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 72 match minutes in a wonderful position. Dom Fredon didn't get a good kick on the ball. With his leg Alexandro Gavilanes managed to avoid a goal in the 77thth minute, when Ecuador's Daniel Zorita fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Felix Montenegro recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 79th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 81st minute Johnny Cabeleira shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Julio Vera saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 82 minutes into the match, Ecuador's goal looked a bit too open when Johnny Cabeleira came free, but Julio Vera reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The audience thought a goal was coming when Cristian Sancho got free with Alexandro Gavilanes in the 83rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Julio Vera showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Johnny Cabeleira in the 86th minute of the match. In the 89th match minute, ㄇㄜㄕ 01-07-24 was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Toninho Vander to maneuver through the defense. Julio Vera made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Dom Fredon in the 94th minute of play.
