Mexico's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Joel Gaona in the 25th minute. The corner led Mexico's Joel Gaona to fire away a dangerous shot which Wagner Vaida despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. Tytus Loncki kicked well hit freekick during the 27th minute of the match. Mexico's Dante Lacasa proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 34th minute of the match, managed to save Mexico from getting a goal against them. Wagner Vaida showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Lautaro Mancebo in the 36th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Murilo Bueno in the 37th minute of play forced Mexico's goalkeeper Dante Lacasa to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 38th minute Ribeiro Sales FC were awarded a corner. Rudolph Flege went to the cornerflag to take it. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 43rd minute of the game. One of Mexico:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Ribeiro Sales FC:s goal. In the 44th minute of the game, Ribeiro Sales FC got a penalty. When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Rudolph Flege made a kick off. 50 minutes into the match, Ribeiro Sales FC's goalkeeper Wagner Vaida had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Lautaro Mancebo. Mexico's Dante Lacasa played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Murilo Bueno in the 54th minute of play. After 55 minutes, Luca Rouco mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Mexico and the Ribeiro Sales FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. A collision led to Mexico getting a freekick after 55 minutes play. Luca Rouco hit a great ball. If Marek Strandberg had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 56th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Edvaldo da Mata charged in rather forcefully in the 64th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down.
