Spectators: 40 (Terracing: 31, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) Ecuador's Daniel Zorita started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. If Naldo Jacinto had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 22nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 24th minute, Daniel Zorita made a precise shot to the right of Florian Konopka. Dżuwentus's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-1. In the 32nd minute, Primitivo Andino hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Manfred Kjellqvist received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 40th minute. Julio Vera tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When Adriel Ba Loua came up free with the goalie in the 41st minute, the Dżuwentus fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Adriel Ba Loua couldn't finish the play. Cristian Sancho scored 1-2 in the 46th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Florian Konopka, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. After the first half Ecuador were leading 1-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

After a rather tough play, Dżuwentus's Bora Han Akbel got a free kick in the 53rd minute. In the 54th minute the ball was on its way in behind Dżuwentus's goalkeeper Florian Konopka, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Luis Andino was really disappointed when he shot the ball just outside the right post instead of scoring a goal in the 63rd minute. Ecuador's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. 65 minutes into the game, Cristian Sancho recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Florian Konopka. Cristian Sancho showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-3. In the 76th minute, Ecuador's Cristian Sancho ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Florian Konopka. Florian Konopka yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-4. 79 minutes into the match, Ecuador's goal looked a bit too open when Adriel Ba Loua came free, but Julio Vera reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 80th minute Dżuwentus were awarded a corner. Leszek Nowakowski went to the cornerflag to take it. The corner went over the outstretched arms of Ecuador's goalie and right to Bora Han Akbel. He fired away a shot at goal, but the shot had too much spin, and it went just outside the goal. Ecuador's manager breathed a sigh of relief on the sidelines as his team had managed to escape an almost certain goal. In the 83rd minute, Daniel Zorita ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Florian Konopka was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-5. Florian Konopka made a fantastic save in the 86th minute, when Cristian Sancho sent off a good shot on target. The audience thought a goal was coming when Felix Montenegro got free with Florian Konopka in the 90th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After having played for 92 minutes, Daniel Zorita managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Ecuador's supporters crossed their fingers, but Daniel Zorita was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The Dżuwentus fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Ecuador were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
