To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Dimitar Kalev made an important save on a dangerous shot by Cristian Sancho in the 85th minute. CAYASTA II's defense didn't have a chance, in the 86th minute, when Cristian Sancho scored to the left of an out of position Dimitar Kalev, making the score, 1-2. Antonio Arias lost his temper 92 minutes into the game and shoved another player to the ground. He was immediately shown a red card. Arne Sepik shot the penalty kick right outside the post. Julio Vera made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Vasile Dragomir in the 95th minute of play. Ecuador's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
