Cristian Beliran who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 18thth minute tested the skills of Jonathan Ferrant when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Cristian Beliran's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 22ndth minute, Jonathan Ferrant skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. After 25 played minutes Venezuela got a freekick which was hit by Rigoberto Mina. After some fancy dribbling in the 26th minute, Cristian Beliran managed to get in a good position for a shot. Vamos Los Pibes!!!!'s supporters rose to their feet, but Cristian Beliran was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Jonathan Ferrant breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Jonathan Ferrant showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Aquilino Bittor, who was totally free with the ball in the 29th minute. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Aquilino Bittor in the 31st managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Jonathan Ferrant saved Venezuela from getting behind. The audience thought a goal was coming when Cristian Beliran got free with Jonathan Ferrant in the 32nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. The supporters of Vamos Los Pibes!!!! booed when Venezuela was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 33 match minutes in a wonderful position. Rigoberto Mina didn't get a good kick on the ball. Aquilino Bittor sent away a hard shot on goal in the 44th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Jonathan Ferrant didn't succeed in stopping the ball in the 47th minute, which inside left pole to 5-0. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 5-0 at half-time.

After some fancy dribbling in the 53rd minute, Aquilino Bittor managed to get in a good position for a shot. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Patricio Costa helped the player get up and apologised. Patricio Costa hit a great freekick 62 minutes into the match. When Cristian Beliran came up free with the goalie in the 64th minute, the Vamos Los Pibes!!!! fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Cristian Beliran couldn't finish the play. After a rather tough play, Venezuela's Guillermo Mariano got a free kick in the 71st minute. In the 76th minute Aquilino Bittor shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jonathan Ferrant saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Jonathan Ferrant came out of the goal in the 83rd minute to try and stop a shot by Vamos Los Pibes!!!!'s Jan Hendrik Lange. But to his dismay, Jan Hendrik Lange quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 7-0. After some fancy dribbling in the 87th minute, Patricio Costa managed to get in a good position for a shot. Venezuela's supporters rose to their feet, but Patricio Costa was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Eliseo Sagrario breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Jonathan Ferrant made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Cristian Beliran in the 89th minute of play. Vamos Los Pibes!!!!'s supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
