Spectators: 40 (Terracing: 31, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) Ecuador's Daniel Zorita started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. 5 minutes into the match, lןןl Plebe Del Emperador's goal looked a bit too open when Cristian Sancho came free, but Leandro Romildo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Bartolo Refugio in the 8thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Julio Vera, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. Serafin Haimar hit a great freekick 11 minutes into the match. Leandro Romildo came out of the goal in the 13th minute to try and stop a shot by Ecuador's Daniel Zorita. But to his dismay, Daniel Zorita quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. Cristian Sancho recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 15th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Leandro Romildo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Cristian Sancho, who was totally free with the ball in the 19th minute. When lןןl Plebe Del Emperador's Bartolo Refugio in the 22nd minute got a chance for a shot 22nd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Ecuador's goalie prevented a goal. Daniel Zorita sent away a hard shot on goal in the 25th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Cristian Sancho fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 31st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Leandro Romildo having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Cristian Sancho in the 32nd minute of play forced lןןl Plebe Del Emperador's goalkeeper Leandro Romildo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 34 minutes into the match, lןןl Plebe Del Emperador's Rene Daunte sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Julio Vera narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Leandro Romildo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Cristian Sancho in the 36th minute of the match. In the 40th minute Cristian Sancho shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Leandro Romildo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Disappointed in the 0-1 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Bartolo Refugio to strike the kick off in the second half. Leandro Romildo made a fantastic save in the 56th minute, when Cristian Sancho sent off a good shot on target. A collision led to Ecuador getting a freekick after 57 minutes play. Agustín Saelices hit a great ball. Julio Vera showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Rene Daunte, who was totally free with the ball in the 61st minute. lןןl Plebe Del Emperador's Leandro Romildo proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 70th minute of the match, managed to save lןןl Plebe Del Emperador from getting a goal against them. Leandro Romildo came out of the goal in the 72nd minute to try and stop a shot by Ecuador's Daniel Zorita. But to his dismay, Daniel Zorita quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-2. lןןl Plebe Del Emperador's Eduardo Ruy was substituted for Inocencio Tono. Rene Daunte might have been able to make a better finish in the 88th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Julio Vera. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Rene Daunte ran back to his position shaking his head. The supporters of Ecuador booed when lןןl Plebe Del Emperador was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 92 match minutes in a wonderful position. Rene Daunte didn't get a good kick on the ball. Cristian Sancho fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 95th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Leandro Romildo having to interfere. When the match was over Ecuador could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than lןןl Plebe Del Emperador throughout the match.
