Spectators: 40 (Terracing: 31, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Ademir Soares got the match started through his kick off. 5 minutes into the match, Venezuela's goalkeeper Jonathan Ferrant had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Ramon Del Piero. Patricio Costa kicked well hit freekick during the 6th minute of the match. In the 6th minute of the match, Ademir Soares tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Jonathan Ferrant saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. After a defensive mix-up in Venezuela's zone, Ademir Soares stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Jonathan Ferrant came out of the goal and Ademir Soares tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. When Ademir Soares came up free with the goalie in the 13th minute, the Meninos De Cotia fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Ademir Soares couldn't finish the play. Silvestre Corderro got a throw-in 15 minutes in the game and the ball was received by Ramon Del Piero. Ramon Del Piero received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 17th minute. Jonathan Ferrant tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. A collision led to Meninos De Cotia getting a freekick after 24 minutes play. Miguel Frank hit a great ball. After 29 minutes of play, Venezuela's Patricio Costa made it 1-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Hugo Rodrigues was left in no man's land by his defense there! When Ademir Soares fell near the penalty area in the 32nd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Meninos De Cotia's protests and gave Ademir Soares a yellow card for diving instead. After 32 played minutes Meninos De Cotia got a freekick which was hit by Ademir Soares. Hugo Rodrigues took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Tomas Illescas, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ademir Soares in the 35th minute of play forced Venezuela's goalkeeper Jonathan Ferrant to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Jeremias Seco in the 39thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Jonathan Ferrant, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. After some fancy dribbling in the 40th minute, Ramon Del Piero managed to get in a good position for a shot. Meninos De Cotia's supporters rose to their feet, but Ramon Del Piero was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Jonathan Ferrant breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After having played for 43 minutes, Patricio Costa managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Venezuela's supporters crossed their fingers, but Patricio Costa was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 45th minute Ademir Soares shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jonathan Ferrant saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Jonathan Ferrant made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ademir Soares in the 48th minute of play. The score stood at 1-1 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Tomas Illescas to make the kick off. Alex Chicote kicked well hit freekick during the 59th minute of the match. 60 minutes into the match, Jeremias Seco notched a goal, 2-1, to the right of Venezuela's Jonathan Ferrant. Jonathan Ferrant was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. 65 minutes into the game, Ramon Del Piero cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 3-1. Jonathan Ferrant was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Ramon Del Piero took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 70th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Jonathan Ferrant. Venezuela's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. When Meninos De Cotia's Ramon Del Piero in the 72nd minute got a chance for a shot 72nd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Venezuela's goalie prevented a goal. If Patricio Costa had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 73rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 75th match minute, Venezuela was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Patricio Costa to maneuver through the defense. After 76 played minutes, Meninos De Cotia's Silvestre Corderro shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Jonathan Ferrant came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Meninos De Cotia reached it. Meninos De Cotia made a substitution. Faustin Ostermann replaced Ademir Soares. Hugo Rodrigues made an important save on a dangerous shot by Tomas Illescas in the 86th minute. The supporters of Venezuela booed when Meninos De Cotia was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 86 match minutes in a wonderful position. Silvestre Corderro didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 89th minute the ball was on its way in behind Venezuela's goalkeeper Jonathan Ferrant, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. 92 minutes into the match, Faustin Ostermann had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Jonathan Ferrant. Venezuela's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Faustin Ostermann was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 5-1. Jonathan Ferrant stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Faustin Ostermann's shot from short distance in the 95th minute. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Meninos De Cotia fans cheered their team off the field, for while Venezuela had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
