Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Daniel Zorita got the match started through his kick off. Julio Vera showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Joppe Van Goitsenhoven in the 6th minute of the match. A collision led to Young Ostend United getting a freekick after 13 minutes play. Frankie Koval hit a great ball. Daniel Zorita, 14 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. Romário Molinas short, quick shot in the 15thth minute got Julio Vera to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Felix Montenegro fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 23rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Stanny Van Gorp having to interfere. Julio Vera showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Romário Molina in the 24th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Joppe Van Goitsenhoven in the 25th minute of play forced Ecuador's goalkeeper Julio Vera to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Romário Molina who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 30thth minute tested the skills of Julio Vera when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Ecuador's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Daniel Zorita in the 36th minute. Daniel Zorita made a great header on Ecuador's corner, it was just that Young Ostend United's Stanny Van Gorp managed to reach the ball for a save. Julio Vera made a fantastic save in the 39th minute, when Romário Molina sent off a good shot on target. After a rather tough play, Young Ostend United's Alain Wans got a free kick in the 42nd minute. Ecuador were awarded a corner in the 45th minute after Young Ostend United's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Daniel Zorita took the corner. Frankie Koval thought of kicking away a contribution in front of goal but messed it up so badly that the ball went to the right of an astonished Stanny Van Gorp, a very annoying self made goal in the 46th minute which led to 1-1. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.
When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Jason Asselberghs made a kick off. After a defensive mix-up in Ecuador's zone, Romário Molina stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Julio Vera came out of the goal and Romário Molina tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Jason Asselberghs in the 55th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Julio Vera prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Young Ostend United were awarded a corner in the 56th minute after Ecuador's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Leontin Vârșan took the corner. The corner ended in Leontin Vârșan almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Ecuador's Julio Vera did a great save. A collision led to Young Ostend United getting a freekick after 58 minutes play. Leontin Vârșan hit a great ball. A sloppy throw-in by Luis Andino in the 63rd minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by Young Ostend United's Alain Wans. After 64 minutes of play, Young Ostend United's Romário Molina made it 2-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Julio Vera was left in no man's land by his defense there! Young Ostend United's Stanny Van Gorp proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 68th minute of the match, managed to save Young Ostend United from getting a goal against them. Cristian Sancho received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 74th minute. Stanny Van Gorp tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Cristian Sancho in the 76th minute of play forced Young Ostend United's goalkeeper Stanny Van Gorp to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 80th minute, Joppe Van Goitsenhoven hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Stanny Van Gorp made a fantastic save in the 82nd minute, when Daniel Zorita sent off a good shot on target. After 84 minutes Young Ostend United's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Daniel Zorita who took care of the corner kick. After a defensive mix-up in Ecuador's zone, Joppe Van Goitsenhoven stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Julio Vera came out of the goal and Joppe Van Goitsenhoven tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After 88 minutes of play, Ecuador's Daniel Zorita made it 2-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Stanny Van Gorp was left in no man's land by his defense there! Young Ostend United's Stanny Van Gorp proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 91st minute of the match, managed to save Young Ostend United from getting a goal against them. Young Ostend United succeeded in salvaging a draw, even though Ecuador had controlled the match.
